Looks like a UK exclusive at the moment although it was only announced a few days ago so maybe still to announce others.

Are UK Xbox 360 games region-locked? In other words, would it be playable on a US Xbox 360?

It all depends on the game. sometimes they are region locked, sometimes they're not.

As a general rule, multi-platform games are almost always region free. There are some exceptions though, like FFXIII-2 for example. That was region locked! >.<

Either way, you won't know until the game is released or close to release!

I would hazard a guess that Far Cry 3 will most likely be region free!

Yeah as Cosmic said mostly region free, however the standard copy from Japan and USA are region lock so good chance UK and Euro version is the same. Not sure about the insane edition though.

Maybe I'll just import the PS3 version of insane edition to be on the safe side. I could then sell off the PS3 game disc and pick up a US standard edition copy of the 360 version.
