Actually Ebay fees in the USA are very different to Europe.

If you do an auction then it is 9% upto a maximum of $250

If it's "Buy it now" then fees are:

13% upto $40
+
5% $41 - $1000
+
2% $1001+

So alot more with this method.

For Paypal is 2.9% or 3.9% if the buyer is from another country.
