Arseholes, utter bloody arseholes.
They've spammed me for months upon months with "We're sorry your order [Risen 2 CE] has not shipped yet" after it got delayed then 1/2 days before release they tell me they have no stock?

Cancelled all orders with them and I'm in a good mind to make some form of complaint due to the fact that by this time they should have clearly known they wouldn't be selling it and I really don't appreciate being told so late that there's sod all I can do about changing my order somewhere else that has a decent price.

I had the same spam, every Saturday morning. I've had a moan via the customer feedback address but I can't see them doing anything about it. Had trouble with them in the past.

That said, when they are good, they are very good. Usually cheap, the packaging is much better than most other online retailers and I usually get games before release. Can't see me using them again after this though.

Do post if they offer you any form of compensation, as unlikely as it is.

Just had my reply, waste of time. Guess I'll just pay the extra £20 from Amazon.

I'm truly sorry that we have been unable to fulfil your order for Risen 2 : Dark Waters Collector's Edition. Please be assured that it was not our intention to cause you any inconvenience or upset.

I have spoken to our buying department regarding this who have advised me that our suppliers had assured us they will be able to get us a large quantity of stock. It is unfortunate for both ourselves and for you that we were let down by our suppliers meaning we were unable to fulfil your order resulting in a cancellation.

Please be assured that this is not the service we pride ourselves on providing and a full investigation has been raised to help prevent similar situations like this from happening again in the future.

Once again I'm so sorry for any inconvenience caused. If there is anything further I can help you with please feel free to contact me. '

Well . . .I'm gonna contact 'em - pointless though it might be - to tell them that I'm not as effing stupid as they are and point out that i know full well why they've cancelled all orders.

Honestly, i'd have more respect for these moronic twats if they'd just own up for a change and admit they fucked the price up. The way things are going - and i don't know why just gamers are singled out for this lousy treatment - people will be flocking back to the high street to do their shopping.

Couldn't organise a wank in Playboy Mansion . . .

The only way that Zavvi could possibly help and regain some people's trust is if they gave customers who pre-ordered this item, £20 gift card for amazon and I would fruitlessly call them and suggest that as a way they could help. I feel sorry for you guys...
