at 14 my allowance was 5 GBP which is like 10 aud a month

I was also on the rich end of the pocket money spectrum, I got 80 gbp a week pocket money (between the ages of 14-17), and the last week of the month, I'd get an extra 40. (Although that extra 40 eventually disappeared as my mum bought me a MacBook).

Those days are long gone now though

Damn, when I got my PS3 3 years ago I have to wash my family's car just to earn enough money to pay for the games and I buy used so I have to wait 1 year after te game releases. I'm a poor hijo de puta madre
