If anyone is interested in Pittsburgh Steelers stuff, I can get a lot of things. I live less than an hour from Pittsburgh, so where I'm from, pretty much everyone is a Steeler fan. So, I have more access to a lot more Steeler memorabilia than most.

Are the steelers more famous in pittsburgh then the penguins or the pirates?

I thought pittsburgh is more a hockey or baseball town then american football.

Nah, these people are all about American football. Some have the outside of their house's and cars painted with Steeler decorations. I'd say that almost my entire country are football fans more than any other sport.

Don't understand that for me baseball, basketball and hockey is much more intresting then american football.

And I also expected that in some areas of the USA other sports are more popular then american football, it is sad to read that this not the case.

LOL, why is it sad? Don't get me wrong, there are fans of the other sports too. I'm just saying that from my perspective, there are a tremendous amount of football fans. Baseball is so boring. I'd say basketball is the second most popular sport, then baseball and then hockey.

It is sad if just one kind of sports is dominating the other sports like in my country soccer for example.

I don't think baseball is boring I am shocked that an us-american is telling me that, you should know that baseball is the only kind of sports which is origin is from the USA, football, hockey and basketballs origin is from canada.

I'm not just an American though. I have ancestors that came from other countries. You do know that America is made up from people from all over the world. I have a lot of Irish ancestors. My American ancestors only go back less than 100 years. We are Irish / German immigrants. My last name consists of McCoullough, McKinley and Magdol.

Anyway. I'm not really a sports guy. I could never sit through a whole game on the TV. I can't even get into a sports game on game consoles.

And I was writing with an american member and americans just say football to american football and soccer to football or?

I know that the biggest immigrant groups to the usa were germans and irish people in 18th and 19th and maybe in the 20th century, too.

But you have the american citizenship or? And what language do you speak? You can't speak german or irish or?

And in Ireland american football isn't very popular, they prefere football or rugby when I remember.

So where are your ancestores from has nothing to do with what kind of sports you like.
