@swiftdeath: I can guarantee you that you do not have to buy the game to get the steelbook it is just a preorder which is given separately to the people who have preordered the game.

Do you know which size of the steelbooks you will get?

Will you get just DVD-size for all plattforms or also G2-size (Blue-ray) for the PS3-Version?

It has always been the case that the steelbooks were G1. Guess they are G1 this time as well.

Well that is an important information because some members could guess there is G2-Size steelbook for PS3-Version because amazon.de will get the grey steelbook of metal gear solid in both sizes.

So it would be great if you can find out which sizes those steelbooks have.

As already mentioned the steels have ALWAYS been G1 size so I'm pretty sure it will the same this time
We also have one piece eachof the new Splinter Cell and Company of Heroes 2 steelbooks which are also G1 and therefore the MGS will also be G1.

Well why don't you try to find out which size they will have?

Many members just collect G2-Size steelbooks or prefere to collect those steelbooks and MGS is typical PS3-Game for which there has been always a G2-Size steelbook.

The japanese version which is the same version like the one gamestop will get seems to have a G2-Size steelbook.

You can't compare splinter cell and company of heroes 2 which are more xbox360 or PC games then PS3 games with MGS.
