I should point out is in the US we are getting the statue for essentially $28 ($48 for statue, art book, steelbook, and more... so I gave a rough $10 value to each other item) if you deduct the $48 for the game. So it is a different ball game for us this time around for sure... sucks that a good portion of the rest of the world gets screwed with bad or no price conversion rates.

Yeah, I totally agree that we must compare it to something similar and that is why I'm not comparing them, I just indicate how things should be with figures.

Yup. 150 in US $. The game alone costs ~78$ and the special edition costs ~90$.

Why do you guys get the libertalia so cheap?
The special edition is $98 here and the CE $200. So I am paying $100 for the statue which sucks, but all CE's are really expensive here, so I usually just buy special editions if it's not a game I really really like.

If it's the same deal with the fire emblem fates special edition and special editions/CE in Norway, it's your currency combined with real high VAT that increases the price compared to other European countries.

That's right. The currency have fallen a lot over the past year because of the oil prices. Also the VAT is high. Doesen't help to buy from other countries eighter, if I buy something from for example ebay worth say $150, I would have to pay around $60 at the post office. We basically get bent over here

I totally understand. I have friends from Scandinavia, who go through the same problem :/
Sometimes if the price difference is big from here, I buy them and ship them to them.

That statue looks cheap, in the video they've over saturated the colors to make it look more colorful than it actually it. Overwatch statue has better quality imo.

Overall, the CE isn't as good, packaging-wise, as US Uncharted 3 CE. Had more contents in U3CE and a lower price. I can see thing dropping on sale next month like the U3CE.
