Saga litho arrived yesterday. Can't quite put my finger on why, but I don't think I care for it.
Maybe too dark.

Hmmm... Hopefully mine will be here soon. ^o^ Usually takes about 2 weeks to get here.

Any pics of your's in the meantime?

Here it is.

After some thought, here's my take:

The art itself is a little on the dark side, but it's great. The spot gloss doesn't really add anything to it. The "metal fx" (or whatever) is not noticeable in the slightest. If these features seem like a sales gimmick... well they are. They neither add nor detract, they just made it cost more.
What I personally dislike is seeing duckface male commander Shepherd. This is not my Shep, I didn't think it would bug me but it does.

Just my 2 cents

Yes I received mine as well and the only complaints I have for it are that it's a bit dark for the art and any "metal/shiny" effect is completely unnoticeable

I don't mind the character art so much although it doesn't look as good with how dark the art itself is

Looks great Blingaling! Mine arrived today as well. Gotta go to hobby lobby for glass and a frame! I dont notice the metal/shiny effect either but I do enjoy the gloss. Can never go wrong with gold outlining. Well hes not my shep either (mines a female) but Im happy with this. I think Sam did a wonderful job.

Yea they should've kept Shep outta the pic OR only showed the back of the armor and the N7 insignia. Make it androgynous, maybe?

I use femshep too but like it or not Male shep is the "official" one.

I'm more worried about the lack of importance the artist gave to the illusive man

Got mine a few days ago. I like it, but the metallic part of it is almost non existent. Thats part of why it was so costly. Really disappointed in that.

It looks nice overall though.

And yeah, an androgynous shepard would have been better. I feel like fem shep has more personality that the generic male option.

You can never have a Shepard that will satisfy all, over even the majority of people, because of the customisation options in game. They chose Sheploo (Male Shep modelled after Mark Vanderloo) as the 'canon' or 'official' face of Shepard so we all have to accept that. you knew what was on the litho before purchasing it so I don't see how you can mark it down for that reason. Other points are valid though.
