Well maybe you misunderstood me. It is bad to cancel it so late like this.

My question was... is it bad for them to not release a bad product... or should they have released it even with a crappy Batmobile?

Not taking side, honestly asking as I do not know the answer. I am upset, but not overly. I never take things publishers and/or devs say as promises... I think anyone who does is lying to themselves on what that means (and in turn set themselves up to rage over things like this).

Also this was not Amazon's fault... so $20 from them is pretty awesome. WB Games is where any reimbursement should be coming from.

Yeah it is "good" for them to cancel rather than releasing a crappy product... But I'll be better if they can send a code to redeem the game to all who ordered, and complete this edition when the quality issue is resolved.

Btw the PS4 LE is available on Walmart.com!

Yeah that might have been a decent idea.

Funny thing is they probably would have caught the same amount of bad press for that and it would have cost them even more... so being business and about profits they took the easier way out I am sure.

Amazon US is an amazing company... they gave people $20 just for the inconvenience of someone else's mistake. I wish other companies were like them.

I know I should've be satisfied with the $20 voucher, but Amazon.de is giving out the whole game plus steelbook...

Really? Wow I thought someone said just the soundtrack.

Physical game or digital? Just asking as digital may be WB doing the giving.

The whole thing is a mess either way... and it is done, really nothing to do now but bitch or move on.

Thankfully I have moved on... I say thankfully as sometimes in the moment I have a hard time controlling my emotions until I have had a bit to reflect and reel in.

Yeah as pissed as i am about this its not the retailers fault (unless they knew in advance). Its WB who should have advised retailers earlier and allowed them to offer the LE to people before they were sold out.

WB just pissed off customers who were willing to spend serious coin on this edition. Retailers doing anything as compensation is just good customer service on their end.

That being said still not taking up EB on their stupid offer.

Yeah they rely on stock fulfillment a week or so before launch sometimes. So it is not uncommon for them to be waiting until a week before release for stock (most of the time it i much sooner but sometimes it is to the wire).

Just sucks.

Seems to me WB knew or Tri-Force dropped a bomb on them. I have a hard time believing the WB did not know there was an issue though.

I am so glad I preordered this on amazon.de. I didn't realise the cancellation of the game was not amazon's fault because the e-mail was all in german which I can't quite understand, but then I noticed they also included a voucher for the free steelbook version of the game. Pretty damn amazing. Now I just need to find the limited edition locally!

I canceled my Limited edition last night because Game wanted payment from today.
I couldn't afford both currently so it felt like my hand was forced into cancelling my LE so that I didn't run the risk of accidentally getting charged for both.

Not in the UK, Game are only offering £20 off their "Red Hood edition", plus in order to cancel you have to cock about contacting their CS.

I'm supremely pissed off that those utter shower of whoresons at WB for waiting this late before bothering to let us know that we're screwed.
Sure, good that we don't get crap quality, but the bad side of them waiting this late far outweighs that for me, especially considering I cancelled my LE from Amazon because Game were so eager to take the money in their last e-mail.

Dealing with GAME is like dealing with GameStop in the U.S.....
