Exclamation UPDATED 17/4/2013 | My Humble, Grim and Mood Heavy Collection from Canada

Hey all,

Been coming here for a very long time, but recently started posting.

I don't often get collector's editions since I am a very patient gamer and heavily budget-minded, but I do sometimes come across great deals, and as a cheap Dutchman, I can't resist a good deal.

I really enjoy grim, dark and mood heavy games and I think it shows in my collection as a whole, and to some extent with these special editions. I may update this thread with a few pics of my entire collection at some point, or maybe just the more rare games I have.

However, for the time being, enjoy my collection of collector's editions and the stuff they come with!

Collector's editions and steelbooks:

Limited Edition odds and ends:

Statues and figures and whatever-is-left:

UPDATE 17-4-2013! Here's just my 'practical collection' (i.e. actual games I play) in it's entirety. Some rare, some not, but enjoy!

XBOX/360:

Welcome!!! Nice collection you've got going there!

What is the framed document next to the Dead Space 2 guide?

Thanks! Splatterhouse is one of the games I grew up playing and I'll always love any iteration of it. The Terror Mask is one thing I'd love to have a wearable prop of.

Thank-you.

The document is the Unitology Acceptance Letter that came with the limited edition guide. I recently actually had 2 of those guides, and two of the Dead Space 2 collector's editions and a bunch of other Dead Space stuff, but had a crazy Dead Space fanatic buy my whole collection of doubles of everything Dead Space I had.

My girlfriend is also huge into Dead Space, so when we moved in together we had two of everything, which made this buyer pretty happy to grab it all in one lot, and it was nice to be able to make some money off of it to put towards some more of this gaming junk.

Thanks, slow and steady with this one. I'm new to game collecting, but I have some great collections elsewhere. Hopefully this one will swell to those proportions soon enough.

It's actually the collector's edition guide.

I really wanted it for a good long while, but it was long sold out by the time I got into Dragon Age, which sucked. Luckily I found it one day in a used book store for $5!

Nice to meet you Brandon_Storm! Can't wait to see what else you have in store. You said you have other collections? Can you elaborate?

Hope to see you more often!

Thanks, you too.

My more normal collections are comics and cd's, and blu-rays to some extent (although not special editions, I just have a lot of them).

But I also have a big collection of vintage books and antiques that range from old medical tools to even oddities like shrunken heads and stuff like that.

Most people think that stuff is pretty gross, so I try not to mention it much, haha.
