3DS Value of Cubic Ninja through the roof!

Due to the game being the key to the homebrew for the 3DS that's in development, Cubic Ninja is all of a sudden going for loads of money!

Might get myself into town tomorrow to see if Grainger Games/Game/HMV have any and haven't cottoned on yet

Ebgames au already removed the listing and stopped selling them. Managed to quickly pick up a copy on eBay for $40

I am really really hoping this gives me region unlocking. That's all I want if for. I'll buy all the US games that never come to Australia.

I plan to check my local stores to try and get a copy of this tomorrow. If anybody in a PAL Region has any luck with this and would be prepared to help me out, it would be appreciated. ^^

its still about 40 USD across the board, so it didnt skyrocket outside of EU?

Nintendo patched the firmware on the 3DS so the exploit in this game would no longer work if you update your system to a certain patch number or beyond. Game is no selling for $20+ because of this, which is still not a bad resell value.

yea, I heard as well..Nintendo "blocked" any tangible benefits of being able to hack using this cubic ninja game in the US at least..

For people who stayed on an older firmware 9.2 to be exact, on the N3DS + XL, you're now able to make use of the Gateway cards for 3DS using Cubic Ninja. Might be buying myself another N3DS while they might still have 9.2 FW on them.
