Metal Gear Solid 2: Sons of Liberty Premium Package. HELP.

Okay, so as the title says, this is in reference to the Metal Gear Solid 2: Sons of Liberty Premium Package, which I got for Christmas.

When it arrived, there were a few things off about it. Firstly, it was listed as Brand New and Sealed, but when I got it, it was open. No big deal there, I usually collect my things to open, but I kinda thought this would've been cool sealed since it's so old, but I didn't really mind. Was only gutted as I'd paid a bit more than I probably should have since it was supposedly sealed.

Inside, it was missing the Premium Disc, as well as the Solid Snake figurine. There was the box for the figurine, but inside instead, was a MGS1 thing (which I'm not at all sure of?)

It was a well established shop that I purchased from, one which I have purchased MANY items over the past couple of years, so I contacted them, and they apologised for the issue, and set out to resolve it for me.

Instead of getting me to send my copy back (especially as I had paid a lot in the first place) , they sent me a replacement, which also had a couple of issues (different cover on game, and a second CD case "Making Of" (which there doesn't seem to be any space for?), but between the two boxes, I've made up the CE anyway, so everything is fine there.

I'm just a little confused, so want to share pics. Also, if anybody wants to buy any of the spare parts off of me, I'd be happy to sell them. I'm in dire need of money due to a few financial fuck-ups, and I suppose this doesn't violate my "no-selling" rule with my collection.

This is the copy I'd be willing to sell/trade, it is good condition, a few tiny minor dings (basically just slight imprints/dents). The game inside is sealed, and it contains the box for the Solid Snake figurine, but the box is empty. So it is missing the figurine, and the CD. Also unsure about if the cover of the game is correct?

This is the copy I've managed to salvage, can anybody confirm for me that everything looks right? I've compared to images online, and from what I knew should be in it, and I think it's fine, but back-up would be good

The game in the first pic is not the premium pack version, it's the one with just Snake on (second pic) so that's fine, the book looks fine, silver figure is fine, DVD looks fine as long as it's the correct disc inside.. You've got a complete copy with a few extras. Is the game sealed? Do you have the plastic outer for the box set with the red triangle on it?

That making DVD was a pre order bonus I believe (I thought it was just PAL regions but it says NTSC on it so it's USA) not sure what the tube is tbh but it looks cool, maybe a torch? How much do you want for it?

Region 2 is usually for PAL countries but as is NTSC then it's for Japan market.

Thanks Gazereths Yeah, I was sure the game in the first pics was wrong, but wanted to be sure Both copies of the game are still sealed.

The plastic outer, unfortunately not. It was listed as sealed but when it came it wasn't But oh well It's as good as I'm probably gonna get.

The little metal things isn't for sale, sorry. Just the spare bits I have, so the other outer box, game (albeit the wrong cover), the art book and the empty box for the Solid Snake figure. I guess it might be of use to someone who either has an incomplete edition, or maybe a badly damaged one and wants some better quality bits x

NTSC-J is Japan. NTSC is US.

What kind of condition is the regular MGS2 game in? I have both versions perfectly sealed (prem pack version graded and slabbed) but my normal version looks a little yellow to me. Hows the seal? Does the white look really white?

NTSC-J isn't official term and was used for console video games (many older video game systems do not allow games from different regions to be played).
Video encoding on movie DVD is PAL or NTSC (even both has technically slightly different "sub versions").
