However, there's a limited edition Switch console and I don't know if it will be available outside Japan

i wonder if the new more powerful upgraded rumored switch will be out by the time this Japan DragonQuest edition switch console comes out.?..it's gonna cost a premium! but be built on outdated console specs!?

there probably holding out on the Switch Pro or whatever they end up calling it..to coincide with the release of the PS5/next XBOX to steal away at some of their thunder, and to keep up with a "new" offering during that time to stay competitive ...so the real switch upgrade we will probably see around Holiday 2020 along with a Switch AAA release like Metroid Prime 4 etc..i think that's what Nintendo is holding out for..not only that, the components would be a lot less expensive to produce a year down the road too!
