Talking Steelbook Fanatic Greetings From USA

Greetings from the States! I do not know how many members are in the USA, but I know a majority are out of country to where all the good collectors get their deals. I am in awe looking at some of these steelbook collections, I hope to get the ball rolling I ordered 3 extra Rage G1 steelbooks from France in hope to trade for Skyrim Future Shop Steelbook G1, Mass Effect Collection Steelbook, or Modern Warfare Collection steelbook. I will post the info in the designated area of the forum when I receive them hoping I do, it was on ebay and great positive feedback. When did I start to become a collector? I ordered Capcom's Dead Rising High Stakes Edition and Zombrex only to find out there is a Australian Huge Statue etc edition only available out of state. The first steelbook I bought was Doom for Xbox not knowing much about the steelbooks, and Prey and then Halo 3, It did not really catch on till the Call of Duty steelbooks available and amazed at all of the others out there for games. Then I found collectors edition org looking time to time all the new releases and everything that I wish i could own and stare at in awe I frown every time Future Shop releases are released and only available in Canada, I am done ranting, to one steelbook collector to another, hope to see ya soon! :_)

Yes the collector Editions are pretty sweet, but somehow I found a fascination for steelbooks along the way, regrettably I sold what I should have kept (dead rising high stakes edition ), and I Am not making that same mistake now i am a collector n darn proud of it I never knew the Doom 3 steelbook was a good find, it is on ebay and in the US quite easy to get at a cheap price.

Hi! ^o^

What else was included in that Prey tin? Not seen that before! XD Welcome to the forums. If you want a hand with Futureshop steelbooks, yo should check the marketplace section from time to time. There's usually a member or 2 who will be happy to help people get them!

Enjoy your stay! ^o^

Greetings Cosmic Link, The Prey Collector's edition I received pretty cheap, you can get it used 8 or 9 dollars on amazon, I got it for $20 used at a local gamestop in Ohio, it includes: 2 Pewter Figurines: Die-cast figurines of the lead character, Tommy, and the alien Hunter; The Art of Prey Book - Collected conceptual and development images from the artists behind Prey. and also it includes a download code to download the soundtrack which there are various on torrents which include extra songs from the whole game, but the one on the download code is a 2 cd set. Prey was a sweet game when it came out, I for one know George Noorey and Art bell On Coast to Coast and was amazed when they used their radio show on the alien's spaceship Prey 2 should be phenomenal!

Note: The Reason you may not have seen it too, is there is a slipcase for Prey which hides the steelbook case , I just took pics of the actual steel inside
