If you offer him all 3 of those it'll look pretty desperate and he'll know he can make a killing off it -- you should offer him 2 out of these 3, let him make the choice -- then if he says, well, how about all 3? He feels like he's getting a great deal, and you're not having to try and offer him more cash. Just my thoughts regarding negotiating. Don't know enough about the guy to offer more than that. But giving him a PS4 AND an Xbox One for his PS4 already seems like a great deal if you ask me.

Also, didn't know anything about this texting thing, guess I'll give it a whirl. Do they text you back and say "YOU WON"? Or something?

Like many have said, yes I like it that it covers the whole console. Design and colour is slick but don't suit the Uncharted theme.

i think once NEO rolls out, the price will collapse on any PS4 model before it...i dont feel confident in collecting PS4 consoles, until NEO comes out...i dont necassarily care what the "console is worth" since it would have been in my collection, but it does bother me, knowing that if i pay $500 now ...i know NEO will come in at $500 and the old PS4 will be knocked down to $250 or discontinued...so i rather just wait it out.

I am fairly confident the Neo will come in at a retail price of $399 USD and will be a new SKU alongside the original PS4. I don't see Neo affecting the collectability of the PS4 especially for the special/limited editions unless people try to offload them at a discount in hopes to recoup some of their investment to put towards a Neo.

What is not so cool is that after the limited run of 25 pieces was sold Colorware decided to put another batch into production. I spoke with sales director expressing my disappointment but he told me that these will not be numbered (of course, how could they? :roll:) and thus those first 25 will remain rare collector's pieces.

It's a very nice hardware but I do think that for them producing more it will hurt the value because I don't see why someone would pay extra just because it has a number when they could buy the same exact item without it. Look at retro city rampage dx for example. They produced a run of 2000 I believe so they were selling for $100 plus on eBay. Now they made an unlimited quantity, so now you could buy the first release for $50 on ebay or just buy the re-release for $30, but nevertheless congratulations you have an amazing item.

i think the 2 year China anniversary PS4 special edition is "bizarre" to be celebrating a 2 year mark..it does'nt really ring a bell as an auspicious occasion unless there is more significance and meaning in Chinese culture for the number 2 or 2 years in general. plus why are people soo hung up on the 25th anniversary playstation 4 colorware edition? it is an AFTERMARKET, 3RD PARTY, UNLICENSED INDEPENDENT UNOFFICIAL edition...anyone can paint it gray, and get some professional paint shop to add and replicate the finishing touches..thats why i'm a little baffled, by all the "noise" surrounding this so called "25th anniversary" edition PS4 PRO..although i will admit, it is a good paint finish..but the price for an aftermarket CUSTOM PAINT is not worth it to me.

Yep, Colorware does pretty much every custom console and controller that are given away as prizes or are made in super limited batches as promo stuff. They do damn good work.

Colorware sometimes outsources their paint work to developing countries such as India, like it is said, these PS4 Recolors were custom painted in INDIA for the colorware company...when SONY officially release different color variations of the console, the color tint is injected into the console plastic material, whereas COLORWARE is doing a refinish repaint, which SONY does NOT advise to do. although i do admit COLORWARE as a VERY GOOD REPUTATION, there have been issues of paint chip, and paint peeling off their products..and especially if you hold on to them for a number of years, you will see disintegration of the paint on some surface areas, but nonetheless, the console indeed does look nice, so i happy for those who were able to add these beauties to their collections.

i think when manufacturer costs stabilize and go down, we will have one unified PS4 PRO model as the one and only PS4 offering..i don't think the "dual track" PS4 sku model is intended by SONY to be a permanent thing..i don't see how that makes sense, whomever wants to splurge on a PS4 to play games in HD..why would they want to gimp themselves? why not spend 20% more and get top spec resolution..so i think in 2018 PS4 pro will be available for same price as PS4 in 2017 and they will phase it out. thats my theory..streamlined simplified manufacturing can brings prices down.

No need to argue about this guys. It is indeed true that the vocal minority is the one that is sour about frame rate and resolution but at the same time having a better frame rate and resolution is not a bad thing at all.

It's never bad to have a more powerful console for cheaper price. But also same time it's good to have a more cheaper price console that plays the same game as not everyone can afford and prefer to get the cheaper one.

Case point we have, PS4 and PS4 pro, Wii u, all the 2ds/3ds. Soon to have Scorpio. Cheaper option is there for a reason.

Preordered as soon as I seen it as I was hoping to get a Pro soon and I love the design. When you think about it though it's actually a pretty good price for it; £380 for a limited edition console variant with a copy of the game when a new bog-standard black one with no game costs £350 at retail or even if you consider it at roughly £300 for preowned usually.

It's not really related a massive amount but as soon as I seen it it did remind me of the Hellblade hoodie (https://store.ninjatheory.com/collections/hellblade-t-shirts/products/hellblade-gate-hoodie) I got at Christmas. (Which I really love the design of.)

I have to say, I've gone completely off it after seeing it in that video. I really like grey but it looks like a horrible shade of ugly grey in glossy paint that ends up just making it look cheap.

Something that might bug me over time too is that the controller has a sparkly silver finish and so looks like it doesn't even really belong with the console.

To be honest I'll probably cancel it after having watched the video a few times and go for a different Pro.

I have to say, I've gone completely off it after seeing it in that video. I really like grey but it looks like a horrible shade of ugly grey in glossy paint that ends up just making it look cheap.

Something that might bug me over time too is that the controller has a sparkly silver finish and so looks like it doesn't even really belong with the console.

To be honest I'll probably cancel it after having watched the video a few times and go for a different Pro.

So I just went ahead and picked up the beautiful glacier white PS4 Pro from Amazon. I got mine for £310 from Amazon Warehouse, the description was only "Used - Good" and said it had a couple of little scratches which made me a little nervous but on arrival and a close inspection everything in the box was actually brand new. The outer box was held together by clear tape when it seems like it had ripped open at the bottom. Seems crazy they'd take £40 just for that but similar things have happened to me before with them.

Just FYI, I know the one bad thing about Nin-Nin is that they will refund you with website credit only, not actual cash. That's what kept me away from them. Enjoy the system though, it looks amazing!

Same situation with me. I had a long talk yesterday with Amazon guy (I'd rather not mention his name here) and told him that Amazon screwed this up and meanwhile I had a chance to plance my pre-order somewhere else, but I did not bother since my pre-order went through Amazon. Obviously afte receiving cancellation from Amazon it was sold out everywhere.

I tried him to ask to allocate the piece for me since it was not my fault, but no chance. Instead of that he gave 5 GBP credit as an appology (what a joke) and "assured" me, that they have ENOUGH pieces for all customers and that he personally will let me know today as soon they will open pre-orders again. Guess what? (bla bla bla, ...). Damn jokers!

i'm dying to know what the box art designs will be for the consoles..why is that such a big secret?.i wonder if it will be just as colorful and beautiful as the game box art? or are they going for a minimalist black colored design for the console box arts?The box art for my Dragon Quest Builders PS4 was quite nice. So fingers crossed.

because it's only some sketches that they stick on the original plane console, and there are alot of them, it's not really a LE
