Let's kick things off and try and stay on top of things for the next generation
There will be 3 main categories
I will try to update original and costs with all editions
The categories will be

limited edition consoles
Any unique colours or patterns that are different from stock basic design, such as limited edition controller or limited edition silver console

Bundle Editions
Any unique box art
Or games that come bundle but that do NOT have unique or limited edition console art or accessory (controller / kinect art)
So a stock console in a custom box art
Slip cover version are also included here, where the console and box art is identical to stock but there is a slip cover with different box art on it

custom
These can be promotional pieces
Or competition prizes or anything like the many elaborate versions that we have seen turn for the Xbox 360 console where most but not all are made by color ware with high detailed art work airbrushed onto stock consoles, some come with stock cardboard boxes and some come without

Rest of the world is far far far more receptive of a good bundle than the US is or at least that's the reasoning I've heard before for it

Square Enix announced during a livestream event on Wednesday during that Sony will begin taking reservations for a limited-edition Final Fantasy XIV: A Realm Reborn PlayStation 4 variant in early April. Square Enix will reveal the price and release date for the specially-designed console at a later time.

The pack will include both the PS4 and the PS4 version of Final Fantasy XIV: A Realm Reborn, and the PS4 itself will feature a laser-engraved Final Fantasy XIV logo on the HDD bay cover. The game's producer Naoki Yoshida previewed the console during the livestream.

Pre-orders will only be available on the Sony Store, and Sony will only be making 1,400 of the consoles.

I don't mind having some custom HDD drive covers like this but make an actual limited edition PS4, not a limited edition HDD cover Sony. Come on :pooryou:

The best about all this, is that you don't even receive e PS4 with a metal gear packaging or anything even close to it.

You basicaly receive a big box, with a normal blue packaged PS4, the game in loose outside and a little cardboard box with your HDD plate in loose too....

at first i was disappointed its just a cover for the HDD bay.

but i changed my mind when i put it on the console. laser etched. glossy and very elegant.

being interchangeable is a great idea in my view.

and AT LEAST its genuinely limited.

sure beats how microsoft does it for xboxes. spray a layer of cheap paint over the console, call it limited edition, and flood the global markets with it.

thereafter change the artwork, then do it all over again for the next big title.

Yeah, some of my pages went to the submit page and returned the error. Dont know that the one my girlfriend successfully submitted didn't direct her to the confirm order page

Yeah the confirmation was sent to the paypal email.

BTW, PayPal applied a $50 coupon automatically for ordering $300 or more. I have no idea what that is

Ok let me tell you the trick I did.

If you managed to go from paypal to the submit order page. DO NOT PRESS BACK.

Press the submit button, if error just press F5. Most likely it will continue to error but if it managed to load, it will load the submit order page again.

Keep repeating the step and your order will go through.
