Sounds like something that would happen. Guy wants black PS5, post pic and others like it too. Guy decides to make a small limited batch and charge enough to get the custom work done so he gets one of his own in the end and goes for it. Launches website and starts process. Initial attempt at pre-orders/orders is a a disaster and then all of a sudden sad pathetic losers email him threatening to kill them for not being able to order one. Then they decide to not do it anymore.

All seems very plausible to me really.

They were definitely in WAY over their heads. Sounds like they probably had no idea how they were even going to get them made if they are willing to back out so easy (as if they were far into the process and were invested past a website it would not make any sense to back out).

They didnt lost much, but they didnt thought properly about it either.
