what's also strange is that they were "egging" SONY on directly to "come after them" during the whole build up time to the day the pre-orders were launched!..they went out of their way on numerous occasions trying to antagonize SONY to shut them down! with a cease & desist order!..i am wondering!?.. if initially after collecting "the data" if they wanted to use "SONY" coming after them as the bonafide claim as to why!? they could'nt move forward!!!?..but since SONY did'nt reach out in time or get an opportunity to respond..all of a sudden it's "credible threats" !? as the reason why!?..i think LICENSED re-color folks like COLORWARE would not tolerate competitors offering identical services without paying the expensive licensing fees to SONY etc..so the whole thing is really strange and fishy sounding.

The taunting Sony thing I think you are confusing this with a different company called "dbrand" (a different seller/brand that is making black faceplates only... they taunted Sony to come after them as Sony had threatened and shut down a UK startup earlier, though it seems the issue those people had was that they were using the PS logo on the plates which dbrand and SUP3R5 would not have). Basically there were 3 different faceplate companies in the span of a few months time (the UK one I cannot remember the name but it was like "PS5Plates", or something, and then there is, SUP3R5, and DBRAND).

Also the SUP3R5 thing as far as I know as just supposed to make this one thing. They were not getting into it to later compete with Colorware lol

Again I can see how this looks and sounds like a debacle... I still do not understand how it sounds fishy (though none of us know the whole story so it suppose it could be, just nothing yet has added up to enough for that personally).
