True, but I think some would need better poses than others to make a nice statue. I feel like McCree would need an action pose for an interesting statue while Mercy would have a nice statue just standing with her wings extended.

Either way, Blizzard needs more to go with Tracer! And all the info about Tracer on the box seems like it would be indicative of multiple statues being made.

You can go payment plan or full payment taken on shipping. I think the deposit is $20.

To add to this, if you decide to cancel and depending on the release date, the deposit is non-refundable.

Yeah, they charge a random deposit (usually $20, but changes "depending") for anyone who preorders within the first 2-week window. If you do so, you are "guaranteed" a statue as they base the edition size off of those preorders (at least that's how they've been doing it lately).

You can do a "flex-pay" option which charges you the above mentioned deposit, and then breaks up the total payment into 3 or so separate payments that start ~3 months prior to shipping date (which is almost NEVER what they actually list on their site as the ship window). Or you can do full payment at time of shipment, whichever you prefer.

If you join their FB group or their mailing list, they'll usually provide a coupon code to use during the first 2 weeks of preordering which will sometimes (almost) negate the shipping costs (usually ~$20 - $40 of coupon for ~$50 of shipping at least in my area).

Their quality is amazing and customer service is fantastic (at least for now). Also, they really listen to fan feedback and will even change some of the statues after they've given a preview picture if the demands is high enough.

I was watching them on Twitch before they launched it. They did a countdown with their fans on Twitch. Them both are really awesome tbh to go that far with their fans. And they gave us the Coupon Code too to the those who watch them on Twitch and those who joined the Exclusive F4F FB Group. They also show some sneak peak on the next dark souls statues.

Yeah, the issues with their website has been a long running inside joke in the F4F community. Alex has recently brought on new team members though, and they usually have the website updated within a few minutes after a new pre-order launch. First 4 Figures is located in Hong Kong. But however, they have Shippingpartners in the UK and USA I believe, so the shippingcost might be expensive, but at least you don't have to pay taxes. :) The preorder is still open for two weeks, after that Artorias is gone.

Yes. They changed it from a set # recently. My opinion is that it'll likely make edition sizes larger which is unfortunate for those who like the exclusivity. But it also gives people a chance to determine if they want one longer than the short time it takes some to sell out.


Also, here's Alex's latest info regarding the shipping cost for those who are curious:

"Artorias shipping box estimated at 14kg and 60cm * 39cm * 89cm. Hopefully that explains the shipping cost...

Feel free to input the data into your courier companies to see if the shipping cost comes in cheaper and let us know! We only know what our 3rd party warehouses tell us so if you find something drastically cheaper, we'd of course look into it. Please also factor in that we also need to pay to get the statue from China to the US/UK and also need to pay a 3rd warehouse handling charge in addition to the courier cost. My problem was that I didn't feel Scorpion looked right with a sword in 1 hand and a spear in the other. If the EX had an option of having an alternate arm to the spear hand, I would have gotten both.

Ended up going with EX since more is always better haha.

Did you get it? This looks to be 1 of their best pieces. Base looks rocking!

Yeah I mean they determine the es based on the amount of preorders in the window, which is why I was confused as to why they were saying that it would be very limited. Ended up being just a lie, as 1400 for an exclusive is nowhere close to limited. So I'm assuming the number will fluctuate depending on demand.

Bandai Namco made a separate run of the statue for NA since we didn't get the edition of the game with the Yhorm statue.

Haven't been around for a while, but ditto. This statue is top notch. They don't pack well enough to protect the outer box (nothing new for the Irrational store) but the statue is very well packaged and arrived unscathed. If you're a bioshock fan, this is worth considering.

Don't think there's been any word yet on when they'll be available. I think most common retailers will get them (sideshow, bbts). Not sure if Prime1 site ships internationally.

Prime 1 are the future of statues. flatout and a few others were bagging me for wanting to spend $900 on a 1/3 Batman statue, and now the reviews and in-hand pictures have come out, a lot of people will be changing their mind about what's considered "too expensive".

I've got the Prime 1 Batman Arkham Knight on pre-order and I also plan to buy the 1/3 Bane (mercenary version), 1/3 Deathstroke and potentially 1/3 Arkham Knight. Imo, for the size, detail and quality you get, the price is more than fair (especially compared to a company like Sideshow).

The Witcher statues above look incredible and will definitely be priced below $1k.

I actually tweeted at Gentle Giant to ask if it was plastic again and if so to convince Sony that they should at least use hard resin or at least porcelain like the DC statues that Gentle Giants makes... but they did not answer me :D

I'm not sure 100% what that all entails, but it appears to be a bonus sticker, or special "edition" for those who order within the first hour of pre-orders for certain items.

This isn't usually an issue for me with these as I've come to realize it is ALWAYS better to preorder these right away rather than wait because the price NEVER goes down on them for the most part, but just figured I'd mention it here.

Judging by the size of it, shipping costs will make it a really tough buy for international customers.

I don't know why F4F has to make the Dark Souls release schedule so tight. It just makes it harder for people to buy more statues. All I can hope for is that they start charging their Flexipay people once Artorias is paid for so I'm not paying for both at the same time.

I know that, but I don't want to be paying for 2-3 statues on Flexipay all at the same time because then I'm paying something like $225/mo for statue pre-orders. I was hoping they wouldn't be putting the next Dark Souls statue out for pre-order until the 6 month flexipayers were done with the previous statue's payments. There really isn't a reason to make them overlap so much.

Edit: just saw in the video, that there is a direct size comparison of the both statues.

Lore-wise it also makes sense, as Artorias was only slightly smaller than his wolf companion (even though Artorias never saw Sif in his full grown size).

Pre-ordered the exlusive one. Totally love the idea with the additional swords of Ciaran and the Londor knights.

Well the Dark Horse ones are already shipping, Prime1's just recently came up for preorder. I wish Prime1 would space them out a little bit more so collecting the line would be more feasible, but its nice to have such amazing pieces for easily one of the best games of all time.

I got all the Dark Horse ones and preordered the Prime1 exclusive Triss.

I know that Nathan Drake is an iconic character of the Uncharted games, but I wish that they made a statue for Chloe from Uncharted 2. Lost Legacy already made an appearance at PSX and it was announced that Chloe is going to be a playable character. I think it would be great for Sony and Naughty Dog if they had a Chloe Statue.

I'd like your opinion guys. I'm not sure about this one. To me, the sculpt is perfect.
But I feel like the paint job is just black, black and black everywhere. It lacks a bit of metalic paint. And there could be more red paint, too. But that's just me.

Ok little update about Gecco's Souls of Cinder statue:

japanese price is $417 USD. You can get it from several japanese retailer for under $400 USD (Amiami is selling it $386 USD on preorder). I don't know why, but Gecco decided that the statue would cost $500 out of Japan. That's really odd.
So importing from Japan is a good idea if you want to get it at a decent price.

Hmm I never bought from them but this shipping price estimator says $45 USD to ship to canada for a 3 kg item:

Here import charges are 15% of the price of the item + a 7 dollars fee. So about 65 USD of import charges. So it gets pretty expensive, but still cheaper than 500$ + shipping and taxes

Seriously, this statue is a low-blow from Gecco. There is no way that it should be that expensive to get it in North America.
By the way, I don't like it to be laugh in the face. And I feel like that's what Gecco is doing right now. Bull Sh**. Does not makes me want to buy from them again.
I hope they won't do the same thing and screw this up again with the doll from BB and Oscar of Astora.

Wow that is HUGE! Pretty neat too! Never been a Zelda fan though (I know, I know... blasphemy!), really only becasue I was too young to play games that had an complexity at all to them (mostly played things like Contra and Ninja Turtles was back when on NES and SNES... then kind of fell out of gaming until late PS2).

I'm on the fence and don't know if it's worth it. I don't collect Zelda like you or some of the people here but will collect for things that I feel encompass the franchise.

Yeah, at first I was a bit gutted that they didn't do it with a worn wooden look to it, but after watching the documentary on it and that they felt they'd get the best of both worlds by doing a wooden tree stand and a true-to-game-direct-image of the mask, I decided it was okay by me. And yeah, the mask DOES resemble the box-art/logo mask image, so I guess that makes it more "official".

Because its Zelda I was probably sold either way, sorta wish it wasn't THAT big so maybe I'd have more room to display it, but yeah, that tree stand is just amazing! Really loving it.

Well darn. Interestingly enough, they're also doing a "refer a friend" bonus whereby you get "points" for someone using your individualized link after you've purchased it. If we didn't care so much about getting low numbers, we could start a chain to get us all some more points and save some mula by each person using the next's referral link! :banana:

They will not impede the resin lines they said, though I'm sad to think that they would make some figures only in PVC and never get it to us in resin, and it seems like these will be easily available (perhaps not numbered as well).

I trust their attention to detail and quality, so these will be stellar no doubt, but I just hope it doesn't hinder their other efforts on the resin front either financially or logistically.

I hope they do some Dark Souls PVC figures. I like what they've done with the Dark Souls statues so far, but they are just too expensive for me to collect the entire line. Likely going to settle on Solaire and maybe one other.

I might be having a variant of a Vegetto/Vegito statue made. This one will be special as it will have a full color change... it will be Vegetto Blue (SSGSS) color scheme from the recent Dragon Ball Super Arc. I'd say it's the proportion that matters.
And half of the people voted ''yes'' and are willing to get the statue, that's a lot.
They rarely get as much ''Yes'' compared to the ''no''.
Usually it's like 70 ''yes'' for 200 ''no''.

Nothing is official at this point, it was just a poll, to see what people would say; but it turned out that people are interested. That's good news!
I truly hope they will get that license. I need more Darksiders stuff :)

As you guys already said, its not necessarily that the "yes" has to be > than the "no" but just that there are a significant # of "yes" votes to begin with. They've already said that there have been a few licenses they have been granted which they would not have pursued had it not been for the Temptation Thursday polls, and there have not been that many (hardly any if I recall) where yes > no.

But yeah, wouldn't hurt to share it on other forums or places you might go that might have fans of the series to try and change the tides. Looks fairly close as it is. While I'm not a fan, I hope they do it for you guys that are (plus it'd give me a few months/weeks breather from whatever other Nintendo license they're coming up with next!). :thumb:

Anyone else get a shipment notice from Blizzard on the Reaper Statue? Funny thing is I ordered mine late and was a "WAVE 2" order (was supposed to be a Q3 shipment, and was thinking of cancelling it due to that but they shipped it within WAVE 1 for whatever reason). Weird... but not complaining as this is just what i need right now :D
