Little Big Planet 2 CE Announced

The Playstation Blog recently released details of a Collector’s Edition version of Little Big Planet 2 to be released alongside the regular edition on November 16th for $79.99.

According to the Playstation Blog the Collector’s Edition of Little Big Planet 2 will include the following:

  • A copy of LittleBigPlanet 2 – duh.
  • Your own little “Sackboy” – 7” of plushie-goodness for you to accompany you on your journey thru LBP2.
  • Exclusive LBP2 “game ends” – keep your PS3 games in a tidy, organized and ‘Sack-ured” within these unique bookends
  • One stop shop for exclusive DLC + more – regarding in-game content, the LBP2 Collector’s Edition comes packed with 11 different pre-order costumes, including:
    • Disney / Pixar’s Toy Story 3’s “Aliens” Sackboy Costume
    • Disney’s TRON: Legacy “Clu” Sackboy Costume
    • The Muppets’ “The Great Gonzo” Sackboy Costume
    • PlayStation’s “Ratchet” Sackboy Costume
    • PlayStation’s “Clank” Sackboy Costume

    Just a heads up:

    Pre-orders for the Collector's Edition are higher than the standard version, there is a good chance this will sell out before launch.

    Wow, I don't think I've ever seen a CE outpace the standard edition in pre-orders.

    Yeah I know, I think that the price difference between to the two version and the sheer amount of content makes it an attractive purchased.

    I agree. The $80 pricetag for the LBP2 CE is money well spent, unlike most other CE's at that price.
