The import store ACME from the Netherlands gets its own Gears of War 3 Limited Edition. The Edition will be available in two different colored boxes and contains an EU or US copy of the game.

    Nice find, It think the price isn't too bad, considering the Epic edition is €168 on the same site. The shipping price of €17+ VAT is not so good though.

    For that price (about €122 incl VAT without shipping) I would expect the Limited Edition included instead of the regular one.

    I pre-ordered the Epic Edition for €120 which is a much nicer buy in my opinion.

    The only difference is that the wooden box will be colored in red or either in black

    They have some nice stuff, but they are expensive. Also with this edition. They are located in Holland, why on earth do I have to pay 17 euro (21 dollar) on shipping? Normally it's 6,75 euro (around 8 dollar)

    Is this edition any official or just custom made?

    I think the store is only registered in Holland. I ordered already a few item from them and they sent it from Germany ( Cologne). That why you have to pay that much. For me it's cheaper with only 5€

    Looking at these, they do look custom made and very unofficial! Probably just some guy in a shed knocking these up in order to cash-in on the release. If they are official, then that's a different matter, although I would like some kind of confirmation of this.

    I'm not going to bother with these though. Mainly because they look tacky and unofficial, but also because I don't understand why there has to be two of them - Red & Black - Why not simply make one which is both colours? Another cncern is indeed the price, which I consider far too much for just a painted wooden box, medallion, and the game, especially seeing as I already have the Epic Edition pre-ordered
