Do you know what brand the headphones are?

I haven't seen this edition in Australia, but I hope they don't release another Pizza Box edition, lol

I doubt they are anything good, like Sony or Sennheiser. No doubt they are some cheap unknown Chinese or Taiwanese make

Then again, it all depends on how much this Platinum Pack is due to retail for - Maybe they are decent cans, albeit for a premium price. Or maybe I was right on the nose with my former comment...

  3. gurpswoo1:
I agree with Gemini, at a price of $99 it's unlikely to be one of the better ones out there.

Especially given the fact that it can't be used with the PS3 or Xbox.

  4. twistedsymphony:
It's probably just headphones... ie: no microphone

but the photo does show the soundtrack as a Jewel case... I'm assuming the headphones are so you can listen to the soundtrack

also, I've added this to the database.

I just got a message from my retailer. It seems that the Platinum Pack was cancelled! The reason is sony himself, there are some problems in marketing and trademark protection, therefore it is cancelled for the PS3! Does anyone has the same message? Oh yes, for the PAL Version.

  8. fattyuk:
Not surprised with the PS3 due to them releasing there wireless headphones!

All I want is a nice steel book!

  9. gurpswoo1:
I haven't heard anything from the usual channels yet. Is it only PS3

    http://www.play.com/Games/Xbox360/4-...k/Product.html coming to blighty.

  11. fattyuk:
cheers ordered! 2% quid co if anyone uses it

  12. vhal_x:
Does it charge upon order or upon release? xx

  13. comaamen86:
play usaully charge about 5 days before release, in order to pack and post for release date. play are not great with getting it to you on release date, usually a day late for me, but it seems its a play exclusive so will have to order from them.

  14. fattyuk:
Why did they have release this over here though!! my bill for pre orders ATM for November is best part of £500

  15. vhal_x:
As is mine, nearer £700 to be honest xx

  16. vhal_x:
And what's left of this month for me is almost £400 xx

  17. fattyuk:
how do you afford it all!?

  18. vhal_x:
Well it's both myself and my boyfriend who collect, so his wages help out a lot, and we had some money saved for some of these editions previously (and of course, as I'm a SAHM at the moment, I don't have to pay childcare costs, but as soon as I get back into education/work, I will - so I'll no doubt be getting less CEs then ) xx

  19. vhal_x:
Did anybody else preorder this from Play.com? Has your money been taken yet? Mine still hasn't been taken but my preorder is still showing as being okay in my account? So due to payment not being taken, I assume that it's not been dispatched, therefore I won't get it on release date xx
