Uncharted 3 Explorer Edition – super deluxe Collector’s Edition for the UK available for pre-order

The Explorer Edition, which arrives in wooden presentation box, will apparently be produced to “premium quality” in an antique style. There’s no need to worry about finding space for the thing, either, because it’ll also hold up to 19 of your PlayStation 3 games.

The Explorer Edition of Uncharted 3 will come with the following items:

  • Replica of Nathan Drake’s belt buckle which is “wearable”
  • Full-size replica of Drake’s necklace strap that holds Sir Francis Drake’s ring
  • Nathan Drake statue (not full-size)
  • Special Edition journal-styled game box case with the following digital items:
    • London Drake Skin
    • Pirate AK-47 Weapon Mod for multiplayer
    • Upper Cut Taunt gesture
    • Cash Multiplayer boost for online
    • Special Edition Decals Pack for your avatar’s accessories
  • 6 Additional Digital Items:
    • Callout Mod for AK-47
    • Clip Size Mod for Para-9
    • Clip Size Mod for G-MAL
    • Creepy Crawler Kickback
    • Carpet Bomb Kickback
    • Regeneration Booster

According to a recent GameStop listing the Explorer Edition will cost £104.97 and can be pre-ordered here

    I actually am going to pass on this 1. I already have the NA one on pre-order and IMO the steelbook makes it better.

    Maybe I can pickup just the box on ebay down the road.

    This is gamestop UK, so you don't have to pay for customs if they ship to France, because it's EU.

    Ya I have The North America one pre ordered too. That that I think of it the box is the only thing we don't get. The chest looks very nice though! I'll have to get it later on!

    I'm sorry if it's obvious but it doesn't seem gamestop.co.uk ships for other EU countries. I tried to register and in the countries list it only appears the UK.

    I am doing something wrong? I'd like to pre-ordered it

    In Germany it's possible to pre-order games in the Gamestop store itself. There you only have to pay 5€ while the online shop charges you the full amount when pre-ordering.

    gamestop.uk and gamestop.ie are the very same and they will only ship to ireland and the uk. they are the same company and based in ireland. there are no gamestop stores in england anymore they are in the north of ireland. i pre-ordered in store. normally whatever editions gamestop get play.com also sell. as gamestop is irish based i persume a uk company will also sell this game. i reckon it will be play.
