Kotaku have posted about this, citing several online retailers which have unofficially outed this edition and then yanked the listings

Kotaku also reports that there will be a finite number of pre-orders taken, with the rest put on a waiting list

This is one nice edition, the first game was epic and I expect this be even more so.

If The rumours of a restricted released is true, it makes this a guarantee buy for me.

  6. Mike1888:
Oh my god that looks beautiful!! I wish it was for PS3. I think I might get it anyways, the figure looks too great to pass up. Is that a jumbo steelbook?

  7. The Russian Bear:
That CE is mine!!!! Been waiting for TOR for ages, so glad they didn't scew up the CE. Now for Skyrim.....

  8. gurpswoo1:

    Sad... I really wanted this.

  10. The Russian Bear:
Lol its like £40 cheaper on US amazon http://www.amazon.com/Star-Wars-Repu...1235884&sr=1-1

Hopefully UK amazon will mirror that price once they list it.

  11. gurpswoo1:
There is a chance the price could be reduced because there is no RRP listed yet.

sigh....people are very stupid..... or very rich

  14. gurpswoo1:
I have decided not to take the risk and pre-ordered it, I though other edition were too expensive and missed out.

    Crysis 2 Nano edition
    God of war ultimate trilogy
    Fallout New Vegas edition

Hopefully I will have enough money when it comes out.

  15. vhal_x:
preordered, same as gurps, don't want to risk it passing by xx

  16. The Russian Bear:
If only it came with a lifetime subscription like LOTRO

I won't judge anyone, but this kind of CE is hardly worth 70GBP, let alone 130, IMHO. For example, I'm seeing more value in Mass Effect 3 CE or Deus Ex HR: Augmented Edition, let alone Collector's...

  18. vhal_x:
I completely agree with you john, but I've preordered it as a safeguard, if it doesn't go down in price by release, or I'm completely skint (as I am now!), then it'll no doubt be cancelled, but if it proves itself to be popular, then I'd rather have it than risk missing out on a potentially worthwhile edition xx

  19. The Russian Bear:
You have a point, if TOR becomes an actual wow competitor then the CE will skyrocket in value. Ill have to have a long think about it :s
