Borderlands 2 Ultimate Loot Chest Limited Edition & Deluxe Vault Hunter’s Collector’s Edition announced

Today, 2K Games and Gearbox Software have announced that there will two limited edition sets for the upcoming game Borderlands 2. The two special editions offering varying amounts of collectible and in-game bonus items.

First up is the Deluxe Vault Hunter’s Collector’s Edition (£64.99 on Xbox 360, PS3 and PC) which includes the following:

  • authentic Marcus Kincaid bobblehead
  • Inside the Vault: The Art & Design of Borderlands 2 hardbound book
  • collectable sticker set
  • map of Pandora
  • digital comic download code
  • bonus downloadable in-game digital content

last but no least there is the Ultimate Loot Chest Limited Edition (£99.99 on Xbox 360/PS3 or £74.99 on PC)
This beast of a set includes all content found in the Deluxe Vault, plus the following content:

  • a collectable scaled replica of the red loot chests found throughout Pandora in Borderlands 2
  • steelbook case
  • Creatures of Pandora wide-format ID chart
  • lithograph postcard set
  • field notes from Sir Hammerlock
  • cloth map of Pandora
  • and a numbered certificate of authenticity

Pre-order any edition of the game from participating retailers to gain access to the Borderlands 2 Premiere Club, allowing them to download the Gearbox Gun Pack, a Golden Key, the Vault Hunter’s Relic and an all-new fifth character class – the Mechromancer.

Borderlands 2 will be available September 21.

    The only thing thats not cool is the release date it's in the same period ACIII come out and my wife is getting my son so moneywise it blows big time

    Kinda sucks that the PC version is £25 cheaper than the console versions though! >.< Wonder if it will be branded... Buy PC version and pick up the console game with the inevitable Christmas sales?
