Assassin’s Creed III Limited Edition announced for North America
Javius alerted us about a recently announced Limited Edition for Assassin’s Creed III coming to North America.

Included is a 9″ tall statue of AC3’s protagonist, “Connor”; a 28″x48″ Colonial Flag featuring the Assassin’s Crest; a Metal Belt Buckle with the Assassin’s Crest. Exclusive to GameStop is an additional single player mission as well as an additional in-game weapon.
The Limited Edition will be released on October 30th at a price of $120 and is available for Xbox 360 and PS3.
Still like the Freedom Edition better for the George Washington journal. Interestingly, the flag is getting a lot of backlash in the US as being disrespectful.
That's like the 5th type of AC3 Edition announced so far right? And there are some rumours that there could be 1 more announced on July 4th?
I got my eyes on 4 of them so far. I still got a question about the packaging. The ads on the UK versions say there is a collector's box. Are they made of quality material like hard plastic, wood or just cardboard with special designs? What about the NA version? So many questions on the different editions..
Not worth it if you're allready getting the freedom edition imho. Il try get the flag and belt buckle of ebay.

Fair enough but if there is a good quality collectors box with this edition, I might get it as well.
Actually, I have always debated if buying the edition and selling what you don't want is better or buying what you want off ebay is better. Always had this debate in the back off my mind
would like the flag, as someone pointed out to me there is no way to tell if the belt buckle is flimsy but it is hardly exciting compared to the medallion and i really think they messed up not including the notebook.
the only thing uk got shortchanged on was the steel being part of an edition whereas us got it as a pre-order bonus, but many on this site already got one when it went as a us pre-order bonus
Wow! alot of CE are coming out recently. So many to choose from. Which one should be my priority between AC III LE and RE6 CE. Which one is likely to be sold out from pre-orders?

I really like the flag and think it's actually the best item included among all the editions.
I wish the belt buckle was Ubiworkshop's version though.
The one in the picture is just plain boring.
They should really include better pictures of the boxes the editions come in. I will be getting this, and probably the Join or Die edition for the notebook and medallion. But if the box is cheap, I might just eBay the items.

That sucks for people who already pre-ordered to get a steelbook. Though Ubisoft did say that they could "upgrade" their current pre-orders, so shouldn't sacrifice their pre-order bonus. I would shoot amazon CS an email about this if I were out in this situation...

What's that supposed to mean in this joystiq post. Specifically the bit about what Ubisoft have "confirmed" about the flag towards the bottom of the post...? o.0
faded & oldish looking as well as looking like its actually made like a flag
should be made. The one in the collectors edition looks like thinner
material is used to make it & its brighter in color,not as dull or aged looking.
My guess is the flag thats laying flat is a press item so its made a little
fancier than normal as with all things press related
