Fire Emblem: Awakening 3DS XL Limited Edition Bundle Announced For Europe
Nintendo Direct have revealed the release date for Fire Emblem: Awakening. The game will be available on 19 April, exactly one year after the game has been released in Japan. As apology for making European fans wait for the game Mr. Shibata also announced a Limited Edition 3DS XL Bundle exclusive to Europe.
The Bundle includes an exclusive blue Nintendo 3DS XL console with Fire Emblem art imprinted on the console itself, already pre-loaded with a digital copy of Fire Emblem: Awakening.
Europe will also get all of the Japanese DLCs and the first one called “Champions of Yore 1” can be downloaded free for a short period of time.
Considered that this console is not the same as the original consoles that were released on the other markets, we can still expect it to be limited. When the bundle went on sale in North America, it almost instantly sold out.
So, if you are a fan of the Fire Emblem series or even if you are just looking to make an investment you’ll better want to make sure to place your pre-order early.
The bundle currently costs £219.99 GBP at Amazon.co.uk
I wanted this badly but I only can buy US set so I can find games locally easily but sadly I dont have anyone in US to get it for me yet so hopefully in future i still able to get this as i wanted an xl to play this game
Edit: i just check only europe is xl ver, the rest is only 3ds
Maybe i asked if my dad can help me with this, thank you very much for the info
sadface. can't import it yet as it does not ship internationally. Will try again next week
I will get this one, still need a 3DS XL, it doesn't look that nice compared to the US/JAP Fire Emblem 3DS i got to say.
Yup my dad just told me the sad news too, so guess I just have to wait till i can get either one so I better save up first lol
hm could need a further one and it's fire emblem also you'll get a new game for free cuz of nintendos marketing action for april or so ... you can choose again between a few games as far as i know.
@Pre-Installed
No cartridges? *grr*
Got a few questions about this. I'm contemplating gettin one of these, but it will be to use. *gasp*
Anyway, pre-installed game, what will happen to the pre-installed game if I was to do a content transfer from my old 3DS to this one? Sucks that it comes with the game pre-installed. >.< Will still buy the game on a cartridge anyway, just because. Lol Are any other retailers getting this? Hoping GAME UK will get it so I can soften the blow of the cost with my reward points.
Doesn't look as nice as the 3DS which America and Japan got, but I can justify getting this one more, so I'm considering it.
Seems like they have just slapped a fire emblem sticker on to the blue XL, they could have at least made the whole thing blue (like the white version is entirely white), then maybe I would be more interested.
Great news, i po from amazon de instead as they allow this to ship internationally
we can still expect it to be limited
I totally agree. The intended design of this version is not even complete as it is missing the sketchings in the four corners of the device like the original Japanese/us versions... I was still considering buying it because it's an XL but thanks to your post, I just realized it is literally just the an original light blue XL with a plastered fire emblem symbol in the middle...
Just changed my mind on this one, because it just looks quite like a simple print. I think they should've better had sticked with the regular 3DS instead.
looks like aus if not more places get a preorder art book

They did that as well for the Target Tomb Raider steel
Let everyone know about it 2 days before in the weekly flier no one picks up
...I'm of course talking outta my ass. The UK artbook, a hardcover at that, is really nice. US got a tiny pamphlet. This is Xenoblade Chronicles SE all over again!

It doesn't make up for the fact that we had to wait for 2 whole months longer to get the game and we get a shoddily designed console to boot.
Also, regarding this console, it comes with the game pre-installed on the console. If I was to purchase this and do a content transfer from my old 3DS what would happen to the game seeing as the console gets a full format before content is transferred from the old console to the new one... 0.o
