Call of Duty: Ghosts Prestige and Hardened Edition Revealed

Just a few hours from now and we’ll be getting a first look at the multiplayer of Call of Duty: Ghosts. While we’re all waiting here’s a first look from what you can expect from this years Prestige and Hardened Edition. Call of Duty: Ghosts will be released in most territories worldwide on November 5th.

The Prestige Edition will be available for $199.99 USD/£179.99 GBP on PS3, PS4, Xbox 360 and Xbox One and includes the following:

  • Tactical camera: a full HD 1080p, water resistant, wide-angle mounted, wearable camera based on the actual helmet camera featured in the game itself.” The camera includes three attachments, a 4GB memory card, batteries and editing software
  • Steelbook
  • Paracord strap
  • Free Fall Bonus Map
  • Call of Duty: Ghosts Season Pass for 4 DLC Packs
  • Bonus digital content:
    • Player pattern
    • Player card
    • Player background
    • Official soundtrack

The Hardened Edition will be available for $119.99 USD/£89.99 GBP on PS3, PS4, Xbox 360 and Xbox One and includes the following:

    I hope price is maximum 99 euro this time. Although....1080p camera might make it more expensive? Anyone know how much such a thing would cost standalone?

    Amazon has priced the Hardened Edition at $119(US) and the Prestige Edition at $199(US).

    Wow 119 USD for a game, steelbook and bracelet?

    Those paracord straps must be super expensive.....

    Wow! This sucks too, because I'm determined to purchase as much as I don't want to. Oh how I wish the CODs would take an intermittent break between games from time to time...*sheesh*

    prestige is availible as part of an x1 ps4 consdole bundle

    I also just looked into the Blacklist CE in the US and it is $170! Has a remote control plane which is neat but i am sure it is not the best quality... anyone getting that or think it is worth it? Is there a post about it, can;t find it.

    Call of Duty CEs can be this expensive becasue people will still buy them, the hardcore for this game is ridiculous and it is something I don't think the game deserves but people like it.

    Game uk's loss I guess. I've already got the PS4 ordered at Amazon UK. At least if they's a problem, not that I'm expecting any, then any return will be hassle free. No idea how Game are regarding such things.

    I had Blacklist pre-ordered for a while but cancelled. Not sure how much use,if any, I would get out of a RC Plane. Hell I've never even used the RC vehicle from Black Ops.

    I'm getting it, but I honestly think the quality is meh at best and it's overpriced, annnnnnnd, I can almost guarantee in about a month afterwards, you'll still be able to buy this CE on the shelf...Probably a third less in price too...*sigh*

    Gamestop is actually doing a special deal on this.

    People who buy current gen version can later trade in the old version + $10 for the new gen version. Its actually not that bad of a deal really.

    Even though the prestige editions are optimistically priced TF I don't think they will go down that much. Generally the prestige editions value remain quite buoyant. I do however could see the hardened versions dropping quite a bit over time.

    Anyway I'm glad they're including a map pack DLC. It was my main gripe with the BO2 Care Package that it didn't include a pass. Naughty Treyarch.

    That's a brilliant deal. Wonder if that applies to other countries too or just the USA? Will have to check.
