18 inch figure and an artbook.... now that's a good CE.
xbone exclusive though..... rejoice ! xbone preorderers!

  2. blingaling:
Not quite xbox one exclusive, 360 and PC versions are also available.

If the statue looks anywhere near that good $250 is a great price.

    What do you mean?

Available for 3 launch platforms (XB1, X360, and PC)

There will certainly be less XB1 made versus the other two considering the install bases so the XB1 version will likely be "rarer"

    Thought it's worth mentioning this

    Important Shipping Information:

Your game will arrive separately from your box of goodies. The goods will ship by ground in advance of the game's release, regardless of which shipping option you choose. All games will ship the day before release date (March 11, 2014 in North America and beginning March 13, 2014 in Europe). Selecting overnight shipping means you should get your game on release date, but your box will still ship by ground (since it ships early though, there's a really good chance you get the stuff ahead of the release date). Beaming the whole thing to you from space on demand ended up involving a staggering amount of red tape, so we had to scale back a bit and make do with regular shipping channels.
So like how the Dead Space 3 Dev Edition was done

  5. Ayiu:
Since the statue is numbered I really would like to know how much of them will be produced

I don't understand why are they allowed to mark up price according to country while selling and dispatching from US. The only reason it is 150 more expensive in Australia is tax plus shipping but I'm willing to bet I have to add another 100-200 for shipping.

    Outrageous

You know Letrico you make salient points that should be discussed and I agree the pricing is atrocious especially if it's all coming from the same warehouse or group of warehouses

But I always think of you like your avatar

    It's effing adorable

Haha I'm too adorable for serious discussion. This issue was always debated here since we get 1.5x mark up price while the retailers blame it on Australian GST and RRP by vendor.

In this case it looks like the vendor is EA and respawn and I don't see any reason for the mark up since it is goods not sold in Australia and I should not be paying local tax its illegal.

Same goes to the euro and pound price. How could they add VAT into the price when they are actually just importing goods. Members from UK will get slapped another 50-100 import fee on top of an item that they have already paid VAT and import duties as that is what local price includes.

Edit eh I missed one thing. It will be available from retailers as well. Price from retailers I understand but not their price for international order from their own website

  9. LyricalOne:
    Meh, that price.

But dang that statue, it's very tempting.

As for international friend, I would offer to help you out since $250 beats 299eur/299gbp but shipping alone will probably be like 120 if not more

Wait so if you buy from the website and can it shipped to you it's the US price?

Other prices are for localized retailers? Like EBgames Australia for example?

That makes it sound a hell of a lot less limited

  11. DJDREAM:
i think if some friend in the USA helps us, it would be much cheaper! I looked for shippment by DHL to US would be cost 90 euro for up to 31 KG or 62 Pounds.

If you pay as US Citizen 280 US Dollars (199 Euro) incl. shippment.

if we send with a amount of 30 KG 3 or 4 Titanfall CEs to Europe!

We would pay 230 - 240 Euro per CE + 20 Euro shippment inside of Europe!

The Game you can use because its Region free!

  12. Dreamcazman:
I wasn't really interested in the game due to being multiplayer only. After seeing the $400 local price tag, I want the game even less now...

  13. blingaling:
Yep, game itself is not really my thing. But that statue... I'm a sucker for them!

  14. toxicatom5:
Up at Amazon and GameStop now...

I tried to purchase from the website it was just showing $100 price and "Domestic Shipping" of $0. I assume they don't know the shipping price yet and it will be added at later date. However from the fine print they said that "For international customers, local price will be charged" or something like that. I will assume they will change the price on order. I'm quite confused really.

EBGames AU announced that they will be selling it and it will be STRICTLY LIMITED and will be an online only order next Wednesday.

But the price will seriously pissing me off if titanfall store converts the order to AUD for last payment.

Maybe Treehouse Ryan can give more details? It seems like distribution is handled by Treehouse

That seems like an asinine and entirely roundabout way to handle it

  17. Madigan:
I don't get it, why not limit the pre order to US buyers and call it a day?

They can't sell it in us dollars (cheaper) when you have an official regional price. There's no point for EBGames to sell this in AUS when you can get it cheaper on the official store.

    That's my guess.

  18. Christown:
    $400 AUD, Dafuq? nty.

  19. Tejstar:
GAME has got this as an exclusive in the UK for GBP249.99.

A lot of money, but pre-ordered anyway. Will decide later whether I can justify the cost or not...
