Uncharted 3 Collector’s Edition & Pre-Order bonuses announced
Sony announced there will be a collectors edition for the North American fans of Uncharted 3, set to release in November, 2011.
The Collector’s Edition goodies can be found in a swanky looking Traveling Chest replica

So, as i understand it US get the deluxe, PAL territories get the special? or am i wrong or isn't it concreted yet....Both look great though
The PAL version has yet to be finalised, but it looks to be the the same or better edition in PAL regions.

It appears that Amazon.com will only give the pre-order dlc bonuses for the standard game and not for the CE.

From what information that's been released for the PAL version, the Explorer Edition is basically the 'Special Edition' but with added physical stuff and all the DLCs.
The US CE will contain a 'Steelbook case' which has not been mentioned for any of the PAL versions.
So until the PAL EE has been finalised, it may seem the US has something different to the PAL version.
Can someone help me out on obtaining the US CE from amazon.com?? [as they won't ship it outside of the US territories]. :O

That suits me, as the "wardrobe" shown in the Nolan North unboxing video looks very cheap and fragile anyway, whereas the Explorer Edition travel case looks like a far more quality item, similar to the Harry Potter 1-5 (film) travel case from a couple of years ago

Yeah, the US CE reminds me a little of the Far Cry 2 CE box, looks like a stickered on decal on pine [soft] wood that may easily peel off?? I'll be sure not to open that up at all then, just to make sure it doesn't get ruined. But the Explorer Edition looks like it'll live up to their promise, all the material they're using for the antique travelling box is made of realistic looking material and authenticity design.

Awesome, very stylish box!
One thing I need to pick up, is Drake's Journal by Nolan North, which is a behind the making of UC3 book. I haven't seen any prices or shop with it though.
