not fair, you have to pay instantly with paypal, and I just can't at the moment xx

  2. Javius:
    Only in Japan????

  3. Mike1888:
Am I missing something? Why is it so expensive?

  4. gurpswoo1:
Because the other stores have sold out their allocations, even if this store can not confirm that your order will be fulfilled with their allocations. Taking advantage really.

Original price is about $80 + shipping.

  5. MrBubbles:
    I don't like it. Don't know why.

  6. guigas:
Pre-ordered on this website prior to the caution note for 70 euros with shipping...i think it's worth it! Can't wait!!

  7. Icek:
I adore this two games and I adore special editions of almost any kind. But I dunno why would I have to pay $125 for a Classic HD game(s) that in fact the only special thing is hard sleeve and additional booklet. Ok, couple of buck more would be fair, but $125? This edition is a big NO NO to me, unless they put up something more in it. That kind of money is not worth for just two games (although they are a gaming master pieces) and special sleeve and booklet.

  8. mosavon:
I was surprised to see the price, HD remakes do not sell at regular RRP from day 1...so why is this so high? as gurpswoo said they are just taking advantage (or in my words taking the piss).

  9. gurpswoo1:
You also have to remember that it's being releases as two separate games and that the JAP YEN is very high, hence the poor exchange rates. Still, $125 is way too much. I would rather get the Black rock shooter limited Edition from Japan instead.

Can anyone confirm for me if the booklet that comes with this is written in Japanese? If so, it'd be kind of stupid for me to get this as I could never fully understand any of the wonderful "thoughts and ideas" of the creator, Ueda. However, you all may think this is overpriced, and it is, but remember these type of limited editions will often dramatically increase in value and rarity and will probably sell for 10 to 20 times this value in the future. It's crazy, but some serious collector's will pay that kind of money. I've seen it.

  11. gurpswoo1:
More than likely to be written in Japanese with very little English text.

It's difficult to say how much value this will gain. firstly this is a Jap game and they don't tend to be worth as much outside of japan.

Secondly this is a a HD remaster and not remake of the originals, both of which got a limited edition release outside Japan already.

Lastly I expect Sony to do a Sony and make thousands of copies, just like every other limited edition release they have done recently.
