Uncharted 3 Collector’s Edition Unboxing Staring Nolan North

Christian Hancock tipped us off to a very nicely done unboxing video for the upcoming Uncharted 3 Drake’s Deception Collector’s Edition. Not only is this a professionally filmed video put up by SCEA but it stars Nolan North (the voice actor who plays Nathan Drake). Even if you’re not an uncharted fan it’s worth watching just for Mr North’s wise cracks about the CE’s design features…

    Yes, it's the funniest unboxing video I've seen and so professionally recorded too. Just can't wait what they'll show for the unboxing of the Explorer Edition, it should be shown at theaters! lol

    Beautiful presentation and packaging. Once again Naughty Dog shows that it really cares for its fans. I don't know how they'll present the Explorer Edition but if the goodies are just inside the traveler's box, then I'd much rather have this solely because of the way it was presented.

    Just got this down for pre-order . Can't be bothered by UK/AU explorer edition until they show a video presentation that can beat the steelbook.

    That was AWEsome. Nolan North is just great! Got to be the funniest and most professional unboxing ever. Did you guys see inside that box?! Wow. That is WAY nicer than I expected. I didn't know there'd be drawers with velvet displays and lining...and that steelbook...unbelievable. That has to be the nicest steelbook I've ever seen. It actually has "trimming" on the edges. I've never seen a steelbook come with trim like that. I preordered 2 of these literally within minutes after Amazon.com (US) put it up for preorder. lol Yea, I'm like that...

    I was debating on canceling my pre-order on this because there is another (better looking, imo) Nathan Drake figure coming out and the figurine was part of the reason I wanted this...

    however, after watching this video I am going to pull the cash together to get this. I just can't say no! I MEAN THERE IS ONLY 3 OF THEM AROUND, RIGHT!?

    That steelbook does look very nice but I guess I'm gonna have to give it a miss. I'm just sticking to my own region's explorer edition for now.

    Quick question to the australian forum members, where have you ordered the NA collectors edition from, and how much was the total cost, including postage?

    I was going to order a copy from gamestop, but read somewhere they don't make it very easy to do. Any other online site you would recomend?

    P.s. Im still getting the explorer edition, but that unboxing video made me want this as well!!

    you can try cduniverse.com.. they have it listed roughly at 106 USD (6 dollars their gain) and their shipping is around 35 USD. They ship through Fedex to Sydney main hub which then ship out statewide Australia. Though, orders must be at 125 USD value (excluding shipping) so that they upgrade using Fedex for free. Not sure about their packaging for CE shipping though because never ordered CE from there.

    Or Amazon, they don't ship internationally for this item. Use mail forwarding company. Amazon usually pack big size item quite well in a box.

    Gamestop is an option and their shipping is 35 USD. Not sure whether their credit card verification process still exist (scan and fax your credit card statement to them with identity- driver's license or something. They only use USPS expedited. So cduniverse will be faster if you cannot wait.

    Looks like a play arts kai figure.Same company who made the deus ex collectors edition figure and so many more figures so well see it in toy-hobby stores sometime in the future for sure

    The one in CE is from Sideshow Collectibles but I don't know about this one

    I just preorder the CE. The steelbook makes it worth every cent in my opinion.
