Two clans, the white and the red, battle for a legendary treasure hidden in a desolate mountain town. One day, a lone gunman, burdened with deep emotional scars but blessed with incredible shooting skills, drifts into town. Awesome! I heard of this film a while back and I’m a huge Quintin Tarantino fan, so when I saw he was in this film I looked into it more. The film looks pretty frickin’ awesome. Great contest - I’m definitely excited about this.
Looks great .. Is the comp US only by any chance? =[
This actually looks really cool. With any luck it’ll be in my hands once it hits our shores.
I think this has got to be one of the strangest but most interesting and exciting concepts I’ve heard in a while, have them all speak english. I love that idea, especially as someone who doesn’t understand Japanese and I’m excited to see if any of the actors really pull it off. From the clips I’ve seen of this movie, it looked really great. The cinematography and the sets and costumes were all top notch quality from the looks of it. I’m not
sure about how I feel about Quentin Tarantino’s part in it though, to me he was always a better director than actor but I guess I’ll judge after I get to see it. I really hope I can see this movie. Thanks very much for this contest, very generous of you and much appreciated!
iKiddo… I don’t discriminate
I saw a preview for this movie on a recent DVD. Really was not sure what to think, but I am intrigued as a huge western fan. And now that I know Quentin Tarantino is involved? I’m there.
I have always loved westerns that break the mold. Silverado comes to mind here.
Hope this one is even close to as good.
The movie looks interest, and Quentin Tarantino is in it so it has to be good. Plus, who can resist a steelbook?
I love steelbooks.

Covers look great - greats shakylechner from Vienna
Looks cool. I love movies that the mainstream doesn’t really hear about. Quentin Tarantino is a badass, I love how he kills himself in his own movies. He’s great.
Looks pretty interesting…Tarantino is a mediocre actor at best, but hopefully he’ll have some influence on the direction.
This looks like a pretty neat indie film. Haven’t seen a Tarantino flick yet though.
sign me up mate
A definite “must have” for my collection!
I’m psyched. I love Miike and the theater down the street is playing this starting Friday, I can’t wait!
This looks really great, thanks for all the info and work you put into this site, I have been reading for a while now.
