I have a load of "modern" film posters late 90's early noughties and film merchandise.

These include a Terminator 2 leather jacket, Terminator 3 6 foot lenticular "poster" which was originally the insert of a cinema standee. Night Watch shot cups, X2 metal wristwatch (Which I have never seen the likes of since) and lots of original posters. Wanted to sell them all as a collection.

There were mints in a metal tin for Bioshock 2, came with a rare press kit but often got seperated from it

Hi all I have a Uncharted 2 Fortune Hunters Edition that I'm looking to have appraised before I try to sell it. The box is signed and has the strategy guide and dagger in like new condition. The only thing I'm missing is the actual game (Edit: Found it). This box has been sitting under my bed since I opened it. I don't think an appraisal will significantly increase the value, other than it will get a nice display box tbh (which will no doubt add a little value)

I've personally felt that the signed claptrap poster is one of the holy grails of Borderlands memorabilia.

I figured if it had Pitchford's sig as well it would be (Maybe your does).


Makes me think there is not many really awesome Borderlands items if that is a grail... it is neat but not that neat. I would rather have that Press Kit for the prices of that poster. It is rare, but not that special IMO... to each his own though (it is not MOC bottle or Dishonored Clock).

Tomb Raider Anniversary: 10 year anniversary edition. This edition was limited to 1000, only for sale in Korea. The game is in English, but the manual I would presume to be in Korean. I have 2 copies, both are sealed.

The box includes everything seen below: the game DVD, bonus DVD (as in the UK Anniversary Collector's Edition) a Tomb Raider Anniversary / Eidos T-Shirt and a mobile phone strap impressed with the Tomb Raider Anniversary logo.

Need help with this U3 box from Gamescom from back in the day. Not very special in terms of box - it's a regular wooden box but with Uncharted 3 on it and apparently 12 were used at this event. It is 50 cm x 35 xm x 30 cm (about 20 inches x 14 x 12).

Tomb Raider Anniversary: 10 year anniversary edition. This edition was limited to 1000, only for sale in Korea. The game is in English, but the manual I would presume to be in Korean. I have 2 copies, both are sealed.

The box includes everything seen below: the game DVD, bonus DVD (as in the UK Anniversary Collector's Edition) a Tomb Raider Anniversary / Eidos T-Shirt and a mobile phone strap impressed with the Tomb Raider Anniversary logo.

My thoughts exactly. The only time I could've seen you get a decent profit from the Halo Edition 360 was within the launch window, during all the halo hype.

That, and special editions consoles tend to not hold much value over time, especially current ones. There is exceptions of course (MGS4 PS3, Zelda GBSP, etc.).

Hard to say, but pc games are not usually very valuable in terms of collecting. Tomb Raider franchise dont have so big collecting scene like Assassins Creed or Bioshock. I would say that this item is something between 70eur - 150 eur at most. Try putting it at ebay with very high reserve price so you can check out what people are willing to pay for it.

It is essentially a press kit (maybe more of a promo pack since it was long before release with no promo game). It was sent out about a month ago or more (my contact sent me this pic of it about that log ago).


Not really sure what this is worth to be honest. Not as nice as the last PK. But the hype wave of the release will drive the price up.

So really are you asking what you can get for it or what it is worth long haul?


Long term I would say (assuming the games scores and does as well as the others) Maybe $140. That is based on the AC one on eBay that has been re-listed a couple times.

If for sale... if you ride the hype wave when the game is released you could potentially bid out at $200-$250 maybe (maybe more?)? You never really know during that window. Although hype might be diminished now that we are so close to next gen as compared to other releases of the same stature.

Hype is quite low right now... hype only comes within a week or so from launch and sometimes up to a few months beyond launch (well "big money" hype). Unless the game is being pushed really hard but even then it does not take until about a week before launch and usually doesn't fully take hold until right after launch.

Plus most hype is on GTA right now ;)

Crazy GTA fans... $100 for DLC codes, $100+ dollars for a pen or a USB stick.

Yes, it is worth more if it is sealed... to a sealed collector... Especially older releases like the one you show
Some collector's aim to have an entire collection that is sealed and immaculate (where things were originally factory sealed) and there are also collectors who would prefer sealed ont he basis that it is less likely to have any marks or scratches than an open one even if their plan is to open it themselves :)
Hence an auction for each of the two above would finish higher (in normal circumstances) for the sealed one though the number bidding at the end would be small....

Movies mixed in as well. It looks really odd the shift between G2 Blu ray steelbooks to G1 game steelbooks. Should have stuck to G2 as xbone steels are very likely gonna be G2

Yes if you have an eye on future value and the possible appreciation ( and there is nothing wrong with that because to some extent all collectibles are an investment) but if you want to really enjoy it then open it and appreciate it and accept that the drop in value is more than h it for the opportunity to enjoy it yourself...

The minute you drive a new car off a garage for court you lose the equivalent of the vat percentage as only new cars are vat exempt but it doesn't stop people lusting after brand new cars....

Depends as from what i have seen not all of them seem to have the higher end items like the Zippo, Timer, and Chop Plush.

The ones with the gold USB and shirt, little truck, stickers, air freshener ect... seem to have been selling from $120 to $180 or so. Those did not have the higher end items I listed above.

I would say at its highest it may hit $400 - $500 (the first couple may sell for a little more... some high end collectors on eBay) but think this will not last long for this game. Probably after the first couple sell it and reviews come out It will go down to $200 - $300.

I just think it will not review well and it has very little in the kit.

That's the advantage of a autosignature
It records the pen movement from the original real person but the. replicates it perfectly as many times as needed,
One of the tell tales is, can you see the impression of the ink on the reverse of the piece of paper? And does it vary in pressure?
This would help you rule out a facsimile or rubber stamp
But it does not rule out a secretarial signature, so by ruling out the 2 most common types of signature in the video game media you introduce the chance that it may be secretarial signedsigned
I have a few pieces of signed video game memorabilia and I believe them ass to be either stamps or autosigned

Its not me knocking the authenticity of this piece
Its me saying I don't believe that any large video company values or understands the need for a human hand signature, and imagine if there are 500 press kits, that mans hand is going to hurt


If you can get me a high quality scan or picture I will be able to help identify what I believe it to be, but so far to me it looks like a stamp, as the underline is broken and patchy, and you simply don't get that with a ball point pen, with a felt marker it is understandable,

That's why I under estimated it as even 500 is a large number to ask someone on a salary or wage of 40,000 to spend there time doing
Yes I know they only take 3 seconds each
20*3seconds =1 minute
So 500 would take 25 minutes non stop
And 2900 *3 seconds= 8700 seconds or 145 minutes
Which is over 2 hours non stop, if I was paid more then 30k a year I would refuse to sign signature for anything more then 5 minutes total per day, as it is expected talhat you may need too sign the odd piece of paperwork on a day by day basis
Lithographs on the other hand, I am still unsure as to whether they are hand signed or auto signed, I mean; the print runs of 60 I can imagine those being hand signed, but print runs of 160 is about the limit I could imagine an artist signing, and 500 is a touch imaginative, it all depends on what actually adds the value to the item, is it the hand signed by the person who "owns" the signature?
Is it the signature itself (in which case an autosign is identical to the artist signature but has the benefit/disadvantage (depending which way you look at it) of being identical for every single sign) or a stamp that is an identical looking signature but just a rubber stamp
Or a facsimile which is just a digital print with ink and a printer from an original digital file
All have a lot more value then a forgery, but its all down to individual taste as is collecting as a whole, and I am not trying to devalue anything, I'm more trying say be careful and don't put to much emphasis on anything unless you have absolute proof
