DLC code has deminished the value of collector edition considerably. I notice publisher set the DLC time limit. If you don't use the code within a certain time period, the DLC is gone forever.

I know, but it will happen if the publisher decided to stop supporting their older game. When I purchased Dragon Age Origin CE, the DLC code had a set time. It expires April 30 2010. Due to customer complain, EA decided to disable the time limit.

For a good sealed one I would say £40-£45, £25-35 unsealed.

The xbox version is in more demand than the PS3 version.

The Deluxe edition is very rare and the game has somewhat of a cult status now.

I would value the NTSC deluxe edition at about $250 USD sealed, it's closer to $200 USD.

A unsealed one is worth $80, no more than that, paying over the odds if you do.
Remember to get the Pre-order bonus soundtrack and Artbook. Unlike the PAL version, these were not included in the edition itself. These will add about $10 to the asking price.

Answered this one here: The price has dropped a little in the last 2 months. You should get £90-£100 for sealed version. If you holdout and are willing to export, then a price of £120 can be achieved but only with a bit of patience. If selling via the forum, drop the price by at least 10%. maybe even 14% to take into account pay pal fees.

However this is for the UK PAL version which is long sold out, Other Euro PAL regions still have them in stock.

For AC Codex, again it depends on which region. UK PAL versions tend to go for £85-£90.
Again if you export then expect to get £100-£110 on eBay. The PS3 version is in more demand because it contains extra content.

WOW - The prices are becoming more and more region specific. Certain countries either get overloaded with an Edition or they just not interest in it.

Australia has a long history of having a very low number of copies for their edition for many games. Wish the UK was like that.

I would say £60 is a good price at the moment, but knowing Zavvi they have a habit of reducing the price of the more expensive edition during large sales.

That's a tough one, I too have never seen a copy. I would list on ebay for a huge amount with best offer and see if anyone bites. You can always decline the offer. The listing will cost you around 20p in the UK.

I am dealing on eBay for quite a bit now and I can guaranty that the price as well as the demand for earlier CE of the same game increase when a sequel or a third part of that game is released. My believe is that everyone starts a collection or gets involved in buying collectors edition Items,art books or games at some point. That means most are newcomers in the world of CE's and would start to consider buying items related to their favorite games.
Art books in particularly are in my opinion the best examples. Take Mass Effect, it was released as limited in the UK and as bundle in the US for around 17£ and 35 $ respectively. When the second part came out and people start to realize how huge the game was this book started to triple or even quadruple in price everywhere and was sold out in matters of weeks.

FFXII Potions - Disgusting. It has a nice colouring but tasted quite awful. Medicinal taste, I guess. I have 2 complete bottle sets for this (most bottles still unopened but way past expiry date).

Crisis Core/Advent Children Potions - Decent taste. Has a slight Sprite/7-Up flavour but not as nice since it has that energy drink taste to it (after all, it IS an energy drink). It's not awful by any means though. I have a complete FFVII set+figurine and then about 50% of the actual Crisis Core set (e.g. Turks, Tifa, Aerith, FFVII Zack etc)

FFVII Anniversary Ultimania Book + ShinRa potion - Not very nice. They went back to a similar taste to FFXII (though a little better). Very nice bottle though! Got 2 of these (1 unopened)

I never tried the Dissidia or FFXIII potion/elixirs but from what I read about Dissidia I imagine they were the same as the CC/AC drink.

For fear 3 it's varied by country IMO
Once UK used to go up to almost 90 GBP
But on other hand in German or Spain the bidding end at only 25-40 euro back then probably even lower now (I got mine from spain at 28 euro + shipping)
The bad thing about presskit is it's depend on your luck sometime you get it almost like free other time you pay like 10 time more than it's regular or even CE.

If they are all open and missing items, the value is going to be very low, I would say demand would not increase that much if any with the release of the third game.

Also I don't have 5 of these lying around like some other sellers.

I just bought this a while back, paid for it (considerably more while it wasn't in stock, not for 500GBP though lol) and now needs to pay about the same price for a lot of rare zelda nes games.

Its an ebay seller with A LOT of feedback, positive too, so most likely its a respectable company or one seller who knows what he is doing.

Zavvi cancel orders if it's a rare item and people have preordered high quantities, as they don't want to encourage people buying to sell on for profit, so yeah, they do do it. IF it's happened to the seller, he should know already (if he's checked his account since, that is).

Zavvi cancel orders if it's a rare item and people have preordered high quantities, as they don't want to encourage people buying to sell on for profit, so yeah, they do do it. IF it's happened to the seller, he should know already (if he's checked his account since, that is).

And yeah, they ship in the worst possible ways at times, I've been lucky everytime so far, so I really hope this is not the one that they fuck for me :/ xx

I think the seller(company) would check their account, so I'm not worried about that.

Yeah, people complain, but as far as I know, they've gotten a bit better, so just hoping they stay okay for this release!

I've ordered quite a lot from them in the past, and as mentioned previously, have all turned up in perfect condition, so I am pleading with God that my copy turns up okay :notworthy: xx

I'm sure with all the hype around this release, Zavvi will make sure they send in better packaging. hmmmmmmmmmmmm wouldn't they. It's good idea to ask, so will enquire via twitter, lets see if they reply.

In terms of profit, I'm not sure. I see for some reason the huge price the mirror edge steel book is going for and could sell my copy for a huge profit. But I got it to collect and not to sell on. It would be one of the last items to sell on. The last item of course would be my Dead space ultra VGA, lol.

To be honest I have no idea, it's the first ever time I have seen it for sale anywhere. It's that rare. At least outside Spain.

I though I paid the going rate, just purchased it because I really wanted it.

If the price is right and the buyer pays then we have something truly remarkable, that is an Edition that will pop up very rarely and go for a huge amounts with many bidders . But if this sale sparks other sellers to start listing and flood the market, the price will drop so fast. It's really is an unknown, one of those items that will not likely show up often but cause news stories on many forums and video game blogs and sites.

I have seen replica MGS guns such as the lamp go for around that price so thats what I'm basing it on.

It really depends on who made the replica lamp and the amount made.

Does it say it is a limited run such as 200/1000?

Also if it is made by first4figures (I believe they write f4f on some of their things) it is worth a shitload of money.

Maybe even up to $1000, but only if it is made by them.

These type of CE appear to be vulnerable to 'torn-seal' syndrome due to their shape with a hard plastic slip cover and forced shrinking wrapping :S

Wow man. 2 Dead space ultras! You are very lucky to get VGA 95 on the sealed one, that grade is very hard to get. It looks beautiful by the way.

Grand Turismo Signature edition. Okay, so I found it for $40 new and sealed according to the seller. I'm a bit skeptical about it though. Is there a large fake community on the PS3, if any? Well, I added it to my cart and it took it off from other people to buy but I didnt pay. I messaged him to make sure before payment that it was indeed in good condition, he replied and said that it is now out of stock.

The reason Im skeptical is because it's not Ebay and all his games were cheap. I dont want to buy some Chinese knock off or end up screwed some how.Like the Spyro Skylanders game was also $40. I replied to him asking if any games were actually in stock, still awaiting reply.
