Yeah it's the red slip cover one. I saw one when they first came out sell for $175, but now there are more of them online.

A quick search (http://www.ebay.es/csc/i.html?rt=nc&LH_Complete=1&_nkw=deus%20ex%20steelbook&_dmpt=ES_Videojuegos&_fln=1&_trksid=p3286.c0.m283) of completed listings in ebay.es puts the price around 20 euro shipped. That's a bit low in my opinon. I think you could get a little more if you're willing to be patient. If you're going fleabay, probably go buy it now with the make offers option.

Otherwise if you sell it here, you could get a little more simply due to the fact that a lot of collectors are willing to pay more for peace of mind (i.e. shipping in a box, trustworthy seller etc.) So maybe closer to 30 euros :shrug:

Too bad really as I paid more for this steel way back in January but prices are often inflated at the initial release.

The value is usually from ?80 and above.

It was pulled because they made the CEs too close to release, and hadn't finished making them all, when they discovered they hadn't safety tested the materials in the hobbe, which then meant it could be potentially toxic.

So instead of delaying the CE whilst they spend money to test, and then risk nobody buying the CE after they buy the game on release day, they just pulled the CE from production completely.

Yes, I believe it was. Probably less press kit, and more... giving out to reviewers to see the CE contents first. At least originally. And once the CE itself was scrapped, the remaining copies just kinda became press kits (they are often referred to as such) xx

Letricos quotes are more or less accurate but you should know that for the Diablo steel to sell at the higher end it has to be truly mint which can be hard as Futureshop still handles/packages steels rather poorly.

Even with a mint Diablo though, you'll probably be hard-pressed to get over 30 for it.

i was actually really really lucky...i thinked alot about buying it becouse i couldnt find someone to foward it 2 me, i have a limited budget..and the shipping was almost the price of the figure itself, and when i finally bought mine in a couple of minutes it went sold out, so it was the really last one in stock :3

This is incorrect. They only made 400 total bottles. No more, no less.
This has been confirmed by Irrational.

Some bottles are signed, some are not. I have no idea how many are signed, but I think it's safe to assume that the majority of these bottles are unsigned. In fact, if memory serves, I believe Irrational confirmed that most are unsigned.

I'm not all that surprised actually, simply because it's a stickerbook.

G2 stickerbooks occur much less frequently than G1's.

Only notable G2's I can think of are the UK Vanquish and Belgium Uncharted although I know I'm missing a couple :)

Also I imagine it made the whole deal between MediaMarkt and Steelbook a lot cheaper by ordering 5 x G1 steelbook orders instead of 4 G1's and a G2 order

I'd say these are worth around 150-200 euros in general as it's really difficult to find undamaged copies. Many are scratched up badly. GT5 and ACB definitely worth more. Any price below 150 euros is a bargain!

Olx, Custo Justo and Coisas, are really hard to get good deals, you have to be almost 24/7 to pick up good stuff, cus resellers are allways there.

The zelda steelbook comes up quite a bit actually. I'd probably price it around 20 - 25 USD + shipping.

THe COD steelbook comes up less often but again is not that rare. Maybe 30 - 35 USD??? + shipping

I've actually been looking into that bundle recently as well.

It's a little hard to give a price for as it is far more elusive than the Japanese bundle that comes with the regular game.

That being said, are there collectors that care enough about that very specific distinction to pay much more than the readily available Japanese bundle? Especially when that steelbook is more or less common as dirt. The Asian slipcover variant is a tad rarer but still not hard to source.

You can get the Japanese version with the regular game for about 150 USD shipped anywhere.

I'd say there would be some type of premium for the steelbook edition so my best guess is maybe, maybe 175-180 USD for the steelbook bundle.

Again hard to price imo
