I would say look to pay £110+, have seen some go for £150. This is the sealed price.

The PS3 version is worth more.

in the US..particularly in the "toy world"..in order for it to be considered a collectable..it must be at least 10 years old..if it's not 10 years old..the US mindset amongst collectors, is it's still just a toy...that's what's been said for years at toy fairs, toy conventions, toy resellers.

It should be more than enough. A limited edition without the game loses big on value unless its Dead Space ULE or a numbered limited/special edition game. The 2 big factors are: 1. box is not sealed 2. no game :(

And knowing the box has been open. There is a big chance that the corners/sides are dented or scuffed adding less value overall.

Yes, I'd agree and understand about the Sealed vs Not Sealed. But at this stage it shouldn't be priced below the original in-store rrp as it's not over produced and no longer available in-store. I would think Ryaku's copy in still in 'Brand New' condition as I doubt he's "played" with the contents inside, and also, the US currency isn't exactly the strongest out there ;)

:nea: I think the PS3 is definitely in higher demand anywhere for this particular game mainly due to the fact it's a region free(not like most people will actually open this up and play it). I'm not even sure if the Xbox version can be played on ntsc consoles(can it?).

Anyway yeah but most American collector's don't exactly include the fact that just because Microsoft is an American company that they will only support or even lean towards one company over the other more in their decision when purchasing stuff like this. I know in other categories such as clothing, cars, shoes...etc but for games like this is unheard of to me. But if people do decide on which collector's they buy solely on this fact then to each their own then. But for me when it comes down to collecting i prefer PS3 that is why I got 2 xbox versions and 5 ps3 of this. :D

I'm not shitting on Microsoft or anything by the way. I play my 360 more so often then I ever do with my PS3 mainly because it has a better online experience than ps3 IMO lol :v:

A "like new" sells for around $60 to $80. (PS3 version)

A "Brand new" and "mint condition" sells for $100 to $200. (PS3 Version)

So lucky! Wish I could get my hands on a Dead Island steelbook! Been after one for ages! It's worth quite a bit but that varies, sometimes £30 sometimes as high as £100.

Dents don't knock off a standard percentage tbh, it depends on the severity of the dent, and also - how much the potential buyer cares about small imperfections, so again, this can vary hugely xx

Shop ware ( or shelf ware) is a term made up by eBay seller to say that the outer seal or in this case slip case, has dirt, scratches or rips. The inner parts are suppose to be mint.

Also note that they never came sealed, they did however have a plastic film on top and back of watch.

I don't wear watches. I don't like how they feel and generally they just annoy me. The few times I have worn a watch, I'd end up having someone yell at me for putting it on the wrong wrist. I was not aware that I had a watch wrist; I thought they were just wrists. Then again, when I wear a watch I feel like I'm too fancy for some reason to not just take the extra 3 seconds to take my phone out of my pocket and check the time there. I mean, your phone always tells you the exact right time, regardless of batteries dying or human error.

That watch, though? Yeah, I'd probably wear that everyday.

The game is worth around $280 to $300. Depending on the condition and if sealed. Not a lot have this CE. It is worth getting.

Well, the cheapest I can find in America is around $15 (including shipping) and that only comes with the instruction manual. When the box is included the price on older (uncommon) games like this seems to double or so, so I guess that price is fair.

I'm not a Gamegear collector, I'm just speaking from a general vintage game perspective. (Let's just say I wish I had boxes for my Mega Man NES games.)

The MvC2 stick is about $150-$200+ now, even for PS3 (PS3 TE sticks tend to be less valuable I find). I think this edition is slowly disappearing (slowly) so it's worth keeping . If I had that cash laying about I'd take it in a heartbeat. It's an excellent stick with decent artwork. But remember, they're just rebranded TE round 1 sticks so you could make one yourself by modding any random unit.

The Asura's Wrath Ultimate Edtion, isn't that the EU version? If it's the Japanese one then it's probably worth a pretty penny right now. I haven't found it anywhere in stock. Sad times.

Edit: Got pics for it? Might be interested depending on price. Didn't know there was this version for PAL.

It might be a little difficult to sell items that are on enclosed in a box (all together). I would give it 2-3 more years till you sell this, that's if you decide to sell.

Those GoW Epic and Halo Reach Legend are the heaviest CE there, the Lancer Gun is a very big box but not incredibly heavy. If it's not too far to pick up, I'd rather do that and spend the cash on petrol...and it'll also ensure no damages to the whole package as well. :)
