They they won't everyone around here is cheap and no one ever offered to pay me costs plus postage to them its always nonthays too expensive bring the price down for me and then they'll all try the excuse its christmas, can't you do a deal and bring the price down in the spirit of cjriatmas and no one would ever pay the same as I paid for the ac2 sticker book anyway so I know I'll make a loss on that thing but I can live with that

I've got my AC2 stickerbook for around 120. but yeah there's a bit defect on it. but mine is only a small line scratch, and you won't see it if you don't look. otherwise, in perfect shape, no dent. I decided to buy it for that price and I believe that is a nice deal for that steel nowadays :shrug:

No clue as to its actual value, but some things that would determine value for this piece would be:
- is it the gold or the gray cartridge? (Gold worth more)
- is it complete in box with manual/etc? (What condition of box if so?)
- is it sealed? (This will skyrocket the price)
- where is the signature? (Box,manual,game?)

Non-signed good condition opened w/box Zelda 2's go for around $100+ or at least that's what some people have been asking for them (~$350 if sealed NIB). I've actually been looking for this but wouldn't pay over $150 for this personally, but I'm poor so there's that.

Again, can't speak to the signature, but there's always someone out there willing to pay an unreasonable amount for Zelda merchandise, so it's tough to estimate with signed things.

I would've said about 150GBP as it has no box, since it is hard for a buyer to determine whether it is the real deal as there were loads of counterfeit recased DSL consoles knocking around. The only way to be sure of it's authenticity would be with the box complete with the Zelda sleeve.

Yeah it is a legitimate console bundle. It was apparently sold from independent retailers in the UK, so wasn't available in large retail outlets like GAME, Gamestation or GAMESTOP. I think they were sold at small, Nintendo approved distributors on the high street and online. Here's an old pic of my console bundle.

So in addition to the approx. rarity/value of the Conviction + Briefcase (w/coaster,headlamp,etc.) I'm also wondering what are some of the best SC CEs -- it seems like they had a drastically different version in every region for every game.

The Prince version usually goes around 60 - 70 euros and the Elika version is seen less often so reaches a little more - around 80 euros and, yes there is also a third which I believe is Ahriman

So as I'm fairly new to art collecting what is generally worth more an art piece that is labelled "proof" or a numbered piece which is identical? For instance, I've seen some art where its xxx/5,000 or something, but found that identical piece with the words "proof" where the # is listed on the others? Which would be worth more? Also, what if the # I found was 1/x,xxx? Would that change the approximate worth?

For me always numbered...and numbered and signed better...

If you have a limited run of XXX and you have the 1/XXX and signed.... totally kick ass...

But get this number one....ffffff....truly difficult...

For example a press kit for me will be always the most valuable the number 1 of 1000 like the Batman PK that was on ebay....the others numbers doesn't care for me, but people use to think the lowest the number the most valuable...no sense for me...like having the 100/1000...for me doesn't increase the value...the 1# and the last number yes, the others don't...

For me it's ok if it's numbered...signed and numbered, better....and if you have the 1#....you have the holy grail of this run...

And always depending of the limited run of course...not the same 100 than 1000...

The reason for the differences in value are generally due to scarcity and desirability..

The term proof came into play late 18th century when a small number of prints would be produced for collectors, usually before any inscription was added to the final print. Since prints weren't usually numbered or signed a proof only had real value if it differed n some way from the final print.

Now that editions are often numbered and signed a proof either differs materially from the finished print in that it somehow shows the work in progress (the MacFarlane Kennedy figure being a prime example) or is a limited run given to the artist themselves and not designed to be sold but rather gifted to friend or those involved in producing or distributing the artists work
The Kennedy piece is unusual in that the proofs are numbered sequentially to the overall run - ie they are 1 to 50 then the run itself is numbered to 950 so the total run includes the artist proof.

Art historians and collectors view working proofs as especially desirable because of rarity and insight into the work in progress and because they may have belonged to the artist.

Collectors also usually prefer final artist's proofs even when they are identical to the main edition since they may have been given to a friend by the artist.

An artist's proof has special value because of its extra rarity and its possible differences from the "standard" print, factors that are often reflected in its price.

The number 1 of any limited run is always valued higher than any other number in the run - purely down to the competitive nature of the human heart...

I'm picking up my 1st SC CE later tonight I think since there was just a huge price drop on one of them. I've been looking at these SC CEs for awhile now and just wondering when (not if) I was going to jump on them.

So in addition to the approx. rarity/value of the Conviction + Briefcase (w/coaster,headlamp,etc.) I'm also wondering what are some of the best SC CEs -- it seems like they had a drastically different version in every region for every game.

Not into Zelda collecting but I think 170 - 200 euro for a sealed one are a "fair trade" - So maybe around 120 euro if it is not sealed?

Seen a few for that price on another forum where people always trying to be cheap.

This is my "sealed" edition...it came with just two round stickers, so I see most important the tin status (no dents, scratches, etc...), and if the figures are sealed or unsealed...

and 80 gbp is an achievable price, some have gone for 50 some for 120

the big ticket ones do not sell, time and availability usually rectify this, but thats a waiting game which can go either way

Yeah I guess. In general clothing is not as high value. It is rare in general but in terms of GTA collectibles its middle of the pack I suppose.

Surprisingly press items and the like can actually have market values cheaper than what a comparable retail product would cost. This jacket for instance, promo VG guitars, fancy high quality bags etc.

I would say between 70 and 100 GBP. It's a really nice thing and I've wanted one for ages, but with art books I always open them, unless I buy two copies.

To be honest I don't think there were any reprints but I can't be sure. Diesnake.com used to have the best database for MGS stuff but that was closed down a coupe of years back....I had a cached copy of the database until my PC crashed a few months back and I had to reinstall win7.

I couldn't give you a value, but yes it is a ring and came as part of the Korean AC1 CE. That CE is quite desirable as not many comeup for sale. Not sure how much the ring would fetch solus though.

I am not certain what this sold for originally... BUT hype could potentially double its value for a very short amount of time.

I would suggest selling it right before launch or directly after. Maybe watch eBay as more will turn up trying to do the same as you and capitalizing on the hype. That way you will get an idea of how crazy people are getting.

Wallet is definitely worth more... but really I would think neither are even worth that much.

I saw a black version of the wallet awhile back that was nice but the seller wanted way too much for it.


I cannot believe a couple people have paid tha much for the ear buds... I have seen them for much cheaper. There was another seller with a whole bunch of them selling them for like $15 I think.

These are guesses but I bet you could get $15-$20 for the buds at most, and the wallet maybe $30-$40.

Of what I know these are incredibly rare as they were only given out to certain retail stores as marketing items. The only two I found online sold for over 300 dollars. However, those two did not include the card.

I'm thinking with mine including the card, it should be worth around 400 dollars. What do you guys think? Anyone have one of these or know the value? Thanks!!!
