The Epic Edition of Bulletstorm is a “First Edition” release, it comes in a standard keep case and includes the following additional content:
- 25,000 bonus experience points
- a new look for the game’s leash
- a Peace Maker Carbine, boots, and armor
- Gears of War 3 beta access
News About this Collector's Edition:
- Dec 19, 2010 - Bulletstorm "Epic Edition" Announced
The Epic edition will include 25,000 experience points to use in multiplayer as well as a visual upgrade for the leash weapon. A exclusive peace maker carbine will also be included, as well as a unique set of boots and armor.
The Xbox 360 version will have a bonus code for beta access to Gears of War 3.
Most important of all, it will retail for the same price as the normal game, Amazon USA have started taking pre-orders but no word on a PAL release.
Being EA, this is likely another pre-order edition release with DLC but at least the DLC will be worth quite abit this time, well the xbox 360 version anyway.
So far it's peg for release on the 22 February 2011 in North America and on the 25th of February 2011 for the Europe, but like Gears of War 3 this might change.

It seems that Bulletstorm for the X360 is due an "Epic Edition":
http://www.game.co.uk/Games/Xbox-360...tion/~r353354/
* Early access to the Gears of War 3 public beta
* 25,000 in-game experience points
* Visual upgrades to the leash weapon
* Peace Maker Carbine weapon
It's priced at £44.99, which is £5 more than the regular edition. As far as I can tell, this is for the X360 only as I can't find a PS3 version. It also appears to be exclusive to GAME as well!
Another pointless LE from who else? EA!
I seriously don't know why they continue to waste their time releasing these "Day one" editions. The only thing special about them is the DLC...
It's nothing more than a profit making exercise and they have little interest in making collector's happy.
I'm really starting to doubt if these fake collectors editions are even worth mentioning here.
Those in the UK, Game.co.uk have reduced the price to £39.99, same price as the standard version meaning there is a good chance it will sell out.
Have pre- ordered mine

I preordered mine as well. The game itself looks interesting, and myself and friends of mine have been dieing for them to go back to how the first Gears of war was, so the beta access will be important to find that out.
Amazon has it for $57.99 (NTSC), so regular price won't be too bad, but I am also disliking these "fake" limited editions. Shift 2 comes to mind as another upcoming one, I am thinking of killing off my preorder for that one, because I am not sure I want a racing game, and if I did there are probably better choices.
*** pictures have been posted for the 360/NTSC version ***
Bought it only for the Gears 3 beta. Should've waited since preordering the Gears 3 Epic Edition gives you access to the beta too. >.<
Yeah the edition is waste of time, like so many of these DLC only releases. EA I'm looking at you.
Here is my Bulletstorm : Epic Edition UNBOXING of the game
