    They are doing it again. The limited edition will be $80 while the Legendary will be $150.

    maybe this time I'll wait two weeks and buy the Legendary for $30

    at least it looks like they're doing it RIGHT by making the Legendary the Limited with more... unlike last time where you got shafted out of a metal game case by dropping an extra $50

    Thank goodness I didn't preorder the Halo 3 Legendary Edition. I waited till it drops to $60. This legendary edition is interesting because the figurine will be made by Mcfarlane. From what I heard this will be limited unlike the Halo 3. I hope Legendary will be less than 5000 copies.

    I doubt it will be that scarce, the profit from that is prob barely enough to pay mcfarlane, they do brilliant work.

    the only CEs that are that limited are only available from the publishers website... there are more thank 5000 GameStops in the US that would mean not even ever store would get a copy and the ones that do get one would only get 1.

    I pre-orderd this from Amazon.com. The fact that it is already available for pre-order from multiple retailers means that it is probably not going to be too limited. But you never know. There have been some CE's that have sold out before the release date.

    The developer mention this time legendary will be limited. Not sure if I would believe them, but the figurine does look nice.

    Just a heads up for the UK, Both Amazon and Game.co.uk have sold out and have stopped taking pre-orders.

    I have now pre-ordered mine becuase this looks like this really is limited, alot of the smaller stores have also stopped taking pre-orders.

    There are plenty that still have them but if the current prices on ebay are anything to go by, they are likely to be sold out before release aswell.

    I for one will not be taking the risk and having to pay twice for price for it, you may feel different of course.

    I saw it sold out on Amazon.co.uk, but a few days later they had 1 copy that wasn't ridiculously expensive. So I managed to preorder it. Woo!

    WOW the staute really is very nice and highly detailed.

    I was very impressed with this entire package.... the detail that went into this was exceptional.

    even the pamphlet that instructs you how to attach the guns to the statue is branded with a fake company name from within the game world as if you were buying a scale model of a existing monument from them.

    the only thing that could have been improved was if the game case was a SteelBook instead of a standard plastic case, beyond that I can't think of a single aspect of this edition that could have been improved.
