Dead Island Riptide Rigor Mortis Edition available for pre-order

Back in 2012 Deep silver sought community feedback via a poll to decide what would make it to the riptide collector’s edition.

An unusual decision as collector’s are used to getting whatever is chosen with little to no input from the fan base, so the following is what YOU (or at least some of you) voted to make the final cut.

it will feature an alternate box art, digital strategy map, in-game unlockable content additionally chosen by you

The following content comes all wrapped up in travel suitcase packaging

  • Zombie hula girl bobble figurine
  • Bloody zombie arm bottle opener magnet
  • Bungalow key with branded wood keychain

Available in “extremely limited” quantities, the Rigor Mortis Edition will cost $79.99 for PS3 and XBOX 360 and will be shuffling into stores as of April 23rd in North America

As of yet collector edition details are yet to be announced outside of America

    amazon us has now added both versions for global shipping if anyone wanted to order outside of the us

    No CE released in the US is ever that limited

    Only the crazy ones released off of EA stores and the like

    Anyone that hits regular retailers is made by the tens of thousands

    yea, ordered it at amazon.com and had no problems at all. I also mentioned that they are offering a new shipping method for international customers which is slightly cheaper than priority shipping.

    Maybe not all countries are "activated" in their system yet...I would wait another 2 days and leave them a message if nothing has changed
