Dead Island Riptide Zombie Bait Edition Rumor

While North America is getting the Dead Island Riptide Rigor Mortis Edition, it’s rumored that Europe will get a so-called Dead Island Riptide Zombie Bait Edition.

The Edition is still yet to be confirmed from Deep Silver. But the price is supposed to be 120 Euro and the only known content so far is a female zombie bikini torso statue.

The Dead Island Riptide Zombie Bait Edition is now confirmed and available for pre-order at Gamesonly.at for PC, PS3 and Xbox 360

Limited to 8000 units the collector’s Edition comes in a fancy box with the following:

  • Steelbook
  • 2x DLC with alternate Character Skin & Pack of Weapon MODs
  • bloody, hand-painted zombie bikini torso made from synthetic resin (weight  2.5 kg (~ 5.5 lbs), height 33 cm (~12.99 inch))

The Edition is exclusively sold through Gamesonly.at for Austria, Germany and Switzerland.

Q: Are game & steelbook included in the box or are they separate?
A: Game & Steelbook will be in the box together with the torso statue.

Q: Does the box come sealed in any way?
A: The box will not come sealed.

Q: Is this Edition really available for all 3 platforms (PC, PS3, Xbox 360)?
A: We guarantee a 100% delivery for all 3 platforms. However the box itself will not have any platform branding.

Q: In other European countries the bikini of the torso comes with the British flag, is yours really wearing the US flag?
A: It is still unknown which flag can be seen on our bikini but we keep you up to date through our Newsletter.

    According to Deep Silver the game is not coming out in Germany, so thisone is only sold in austria and switzerland

    yea, I was also wondering when I read it on Gamesonly.at

    Ah they changed it...it's supposed to mean that people from these country can only order it on Gamesonly.at

    Will try to find out more about it!

    oh gee... on closer look i dont think i will ever get this version

    looks like it will be hand-painted in china by a chinaman, even though it will be sold in europe.

    i thought the painter looks chinese

    and on closer look, his thinner bottle is labelled with chinese characters.

    so yea, looks like the statue will be painted in china.

    lol looks like this guy gotta paint 8000

    pardon me, just had bad experiences with made in china products before.
