EA releases new photos of Crysis 2 Nano Edition.

Brenden sent in a tip this morning that EA had some now photos up showing what looks to be a more finalized version of the upcoming Nano Edition of Crysis 2.

The Crysis 2 Nano Edition is designed for the ultimate Crysis fan and will include the Limited Edition housed in a steel case plus an 11” / 28 cm statue of the game’s hero “Prophet” on top of a New York taxi cab, a high-quality art book, all packaged inside a backpack modeled after the Nanosuit itself.

While it looks quite a bit different this is shaping up to be quite a nice CE. I’m particularly happy to see that the NE contains the LE with the adding of a SteelBook as well.

I just wish they would release numbers, for all I know they have will make 50,000 units.

Otherwise this is looking like a very nice release indeed.

I should start emailing publishers and asking for production numbers.... heck if even a few respond it's better than nothing.

    Yes indeed.

And I'm waiting until I see an unboxing video, before I trust promotional pics from EA.

  6. gurpswoo1:
Lol - yeah judging by the comments on the dead space 2 replica gun, I see why.

  7. Cyberhawk:
Is The bagpack usable? I mean, Could i wear it?

  8. twistedsymphony:
judging by recent EA CEs it will be the perfect size for your trained monkey.

I was looking at the Nano Edition again and noticed the 11" figure is being produced by first4figures. There figures are very detailed and not cheap light plastic, made from resin so expect it to be a very good figure.

Also as each one is hand made and painted they take a long time to a produce, pass figures have taken several months to make a batch of 1000. So this pretty much guarantees that there will be a short supply of these.

I expect that there will less than 5,000 units in total for all platforms and regions. although I could be way off, but you never know.

The PC version here is close to selling out here in the UK.

I hope the packaging isn't as deceiving as Dead Space 2.

Damn, that's close to $200 USD. This Nano Edition better come WITH a trained monkey.

But seriously, if it comes with the high quality items you mentioned, it could be worth it. I just waant to know how many of these babies are being produced.

  15. gurpswoo1:
Can you ask on twitter, I can't figure out how use the stupid thing. It's driving me nuts.

  16. DaSaru:
this looks damn good. someone tell me where to get this!

  17. gurpswoo1:
This Edition is sadly not being released in asia, It can be ordered from EA stores online in either Europe and North America.

However they will not dispatch overseas, you will have to get someone to dispatch to you such as Borderlinx ( very very expensive ) or eBay ( not exactly cheap either).

The alternative is setup some sort of exchange or relationship in the wanted section of this forum.

Simply ask for the game or say willing to exchange with items from your country/region.

The nano edition, for all platforms, has been sold out on eastore.com for a while now.

  19. gurpswoo1:
Oops thanks to correcting me lhurgoyf , I can't access the US version, it simply re-directs me to the UK one instead.

Sorry about that DaSaru, it's selling out fast by the looks of it.
