Lego City Undercover Release Date & “Limited Edition” Announced

Today Nintendo has announced that Lego City Undercover, which is exclusive to the Wii U console, will be released in EU territories on 28 March 2013 and in the US on 26 March 2013.

As you explore, you can use the Wii U GamePad as a communicator to talk to others, to scan your surroundings for clues or criminals, or to view the handy map and GPS route when driving around the city.

LEGO City Undercover will also be available in a Limited-Edition software bundle that includes a Minifigure of Chase McCain, Lego City Undercover’s main playable character.

Some stores are already offering the Lego Figure as a pre-order bonus but this one will be wrapped up in a proper box.

Unfortunately, it’s not up for pre-order yet but I am sure most major retailers will have it in stock soon.

    Rayman Legends is maybe a possibility for a port, but it would be hard because the game has a lot of Wii U controller functions.

    I don't think they will port this one actually.

    And i've pre-ordered mine right when it just got on there, i was planning to buy this game already anyways!.

    Hi,

    I'm afraid this one is a proper exclusive to the WiiU - It's tailor made for their console including touch screen functionality etc. Also I believe Nintendo have paid for exclusivity rights over it.

    So, I wouldn't hold your breath on this one. But I definitely think I'll be checking it out!

    Yea it seems pretty much the standard packaging for any nintendo CE.

    That must be standard for PAL only. Last Story here in the US didn't have it, and we don't seem to be getting a CE of any kind for Pandora's Tower, so I can't really confirm it.

    Hopefully that's the case though. Silly tabs.

    yea, the US version of Mario 25th also did'nt have any peg stands on it either..neither did the US Skyward sword special edition.
