PLAY-ASIA markup is astronomical..almost $100 more over retail.....I read somewhere chances are slim to none for a western special edition ..citing poor sales of the Dynasty Warrior series over the years compared to Japan sales.

The chances are indeed extremely small, but since this isn't just a Dynasty Warriors game anything could happen, don't forget most of the huge Zelda fans are western.

    Hate it

  4. Edzo04:
Buy it from Nippon-Yasan and NOT play-asia. They have it for 15,050 before shipping which is practically msrp. Shipping adds about 25-30 if you do EMS.

Indeed, and also to note that you don't have to pay right away with Nippon in comparison to Play-asia.

Thanks for that info! It is way cheaper there. I can't help but to pre-order, this one. Zelda series is my favorite.

as far as I'm aware the title is not final and is still a working title.

  9. KnightOfTruth:
Indeed. Title still pending. I'm interested in why the Zelda title in Japan has a Roman numeral underneath the title? (Or is that a kanji character meaning setting else?)

  10. Zoklar:
That artwork would make an awesome Steelbook.

    That's the release date silly

The Kanji character after the 8 can be translated into "Month" and the one after the 14 to "Day". The rest of the characters means something like "to be released in Summer".

I think we can easily say Hyrule Warriors is the final title, the logo of Hyrule Warriors did already release yesterday(officially).

  13. Zoklar:
I can't find the official website. Is the release date the same as North America?

The release date is yet to be revealed for Europe and the US.

There were tons of screenshots released and art revealed for the game on the English website, as also the logo which can be found here:

There's a better logo on the Nintendo EU website of it.

Play-asia is horrible with prices. Especially anything popular like Zelda. Only site that beats nippon-yasan on price is amiami but they never get retailer exclusive editions like the treasure box.

Yeah, I tried them before pulling the trigger with Nippon - they don't usually get these type of CEs though like you mentioned.

Just placed a pre-order with Nippon as I know I will regret it if I wait. >.< Couldn't moan at the price and am glad I don't need to pay for it upfront. Will pay in a few weeks when Ik get my refunds for a couple of mistaken orders. XD
