Apparently GearBox is planning to offer a Collector’s Edition for their upcoming game Borderlands 2 (due out sometime in 2012). Not only are they planning to offer a CE they’ve asked the community to help them decide what to include!
You can send them your ideas on the official GearBox forum.
Me personally I told them I don’t care what they include for bonuses as long as the packaging is high quality. I figure I spend more time looking at it sitting on the shelf than anything else, so it might as well be worth looking at.
… although an RC claptrap would be pretty cool…

Ubisoft has revealed today that there will be a Limited Edition of Anno 2070 . Anno 2070, the sequel of the famous franchise will set in the near future and is schedule to launch this winter for PC. This special edition of the game comes in a deluxe collector’s box of high quality and includes the following items:

- 2 Soundtracks “Tycoon” & “Eco”
- 152-Page Artbook
- Poster/ economic cycle overview

Just announced by Todd Howard at Quakecon: The Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim Collector’s Edition. The entire contents will come in a special game case and include the following items:
- Alduin Statue, 12 inch
- The Art of Skyrim Official Art Book
- The Making of The Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim DVD
Bethesda says that quantities are extremely limited and may be pre-ordered through “participating retailers” for about $150. The Edition will also be released in Europe & Australia for £130/ €150 & AU$200

Warner Bros. announced at their press conference on July 14 another Collector’s Edition for the game The Lord of the Rings: War in the north. The Collector’s Edition will be available for PC, PS3 & Xbox 360.
Due out in fall 2011 for a RRP of € 89.99 – the Collector’s Edition includes the following:
- The game in a Steelbook case
- Exclusive snowtroll figure
- War in the North art book featuring concept art of key characters in the game, various enemies and beautiful environments in Middle-earth
- Inside Look: The Music of War in the North
- Interviews and footage of legendary composer Inon Zur at Abbey Road Studios
- The E3 2011 Concert event, along with three tracks from the game soundtrack

Warner Bros. Interactive and Snowblind Studios have announced details of the North American Collector’s Edition and interesting pre-order bonuses for The Lord of the Rings: War in the North.
The Collector’s Edition of the Lord of the Rings: War in the North includes:
- Ranger of the North Quiver Case
- War in the North art book featuring concept art of key characters in the game, various enemies and beautiful environments in Middle-earth
- Inside Look: The Music of War in the North
- Interviews and footage of legendary composer Inon Zur at Abbey Road Studios
- The E3 2011 Concert event, along with three tracks from the game soundtrack
- Digital content:
- Ranger of the North Avatar for Xbox Live – includes the Ranger armor set, helmet, quiver and bow

EB Games Australia announced the Battlefield 3 Limited Edition Physical Warfare Pack an hour ago.
Exclusive to EB the Physical Warfare Pack contains the game in a Steelbook case and the following extra content:
