The Limited Edition of Makai Senki Disgaea 4 includes a “petit” Fuka Kazamatsuri figurine with removable hat and backpack as well as a Artbook and Soundtrack CD.
Heads-up, pre-orders are now open for this. In their e-mail they stated they expect these to sell-out extremely fast (we'll see).

Awesome, big fan of Disgaea, pre-ordered
so I ordered the figurine set from the NIS website... I got it inday and all 9 of the figurines are the same one
It says "trading figures" on the box so I'm assuming that maybe this is normal and they expect people to trade for a full set?
Did anyone else order this and did you get all of the same figurine as well? if not let me know so I can contact NIS. if so, do you want to trade
I really hope that is a mistake by NIS Twisted, I do not want 9 of the same figure, and go through the trouble of trading =/
On the site it says "Complete Disgaea 4 Nine Figure Set ($72 value)" and the picture shows 9 different figures.
My guess is that it is a mistake. I should be getting mine soon, so I'll let you know!

Well that certainly is strange/dumb. I cancelled my order on the figure set in favour of the regular premium edition
I am getting it next week. I'll see which one I have and we can all trade.

Just an FYI: the box that contains the figurines is not sealed (so you can easily check what you have and take them out for trade), but the smaller individual boxes inside that contain the figurines ARE glued shut... so don't rip them open, or at least wait until you've traded me

ok after watching that unboxing video... I think that maybe I DID get a complete set it's just that they all have the same box.
the guy in the video said he has "1 of 9" and the images on the box are exactly like mine... I assumed I had Valvatorez because his picture is on the top of the box right next to the "1 of 9" logo.... but when he opened his it had a completely different character.
So with this I pulled out a couple of boxes and noticed that they had different weights to them...
so from this I've determined
1. all the boxes are exactly the same and it's impossible to determine who is in what box without ripping the glue on the top.
2. maybe we got a complete set??? or maybe NIS is evil and gave us random figurines that are impossible to determine without breaking the seal.
Sounds complicated =/
So...for those collectors that keeps their CEs sealed...it is impossible to tell which figure we have? That is a bit evil.

Can't believe I have to dig through the whole thing and trade with others
it's impossible to know what's going on until someone goes through and opens all of their figurines to determine if it's random or if we did get a complete set just all with the same box art.
That's the dumbest thing I ever encountered for a CE
Okay, just to make this clear, everyone gets a complete set and the box for the trading figure set is different. In whole, there are two box sets for this edition: the premium trading figure box set and the Fuka Premium Edition. Originally, Fuka was part of the set of nine but for this particular CE, Fuka's replaced by a Prinny figurine. Thus, the grand total of Disgaea figures for the Super Premium Edition is 10 (2 Flonnes FTW!).
The "1 of 9" label next to the Valvatorez do not signify that that box would contain Valvatorez. The "1 of 9" are supposed to mean "the 1st of nine figures" or "one of the nine figures from the whole set" or something like that. I assumed Valvatorez's name is on the box because he's Disgaea 4's lead.
As for the "trading figures" moniker, that's what they're called because they do look like trading figures to play with rather than a collector's figurine to display proudly on a shelf.
So yeah, I hope that cleared things up.
By the way, I heard Laharl and Etna are in the game. I hope they're recruitable. Valvatorez and Laharl on the same team would be beast for me as a gamer and a dream come true for me as a fan. That's not what I'm worried about, though. I'm worried about the possibility that Flonne might not be playable. Come on, everybody loves Ms. Flonne.
My copy of the Ultra Premium Edition arrived today, lol, it arrived with the biggest bashing on the box! It looked like a striker used to to score a penalty shot cos the dent [understatement] was literally the size of boot kick! I have no idea show that happened but luckily for some miracle everything inside was fine!!! I was shocked! :O Not even the CD jewel case had a crack on it.
