just seen this before - looking sweet and i do need it - the only thing i'd really like it to include is the soundtrack...
I just hoped for more... far more; all we get is:
1.) An "Exclusive Making of DVD", which is absolutely obligatory.
2.) An art book, which seems to be as much of an "book" as the "art books" we got with e.g. the Gears of War (Xbox 360) Ltd. C.E., the Far Cry 2 (PC) Collector Pack, the Saints Row 2 (Xbox 360) C.E. Gun Pack and a billion other C.E., after the Bioshock 2 (PS) Special Edt., the The Witcher 2: Assassin's of Kings (PC) C.E. or the The Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim (PC) C.E. have shown the industrie how to make it right...
3.) DLC...
What we don't get is a soundtrack-CD, which should be mandatory for any C.E.. We don't get a special packaging either, after the polish Call of Juarez: The Cartel (PC) Edycja Kolekcjonerska already had shown us, that it is possible to deliver a game in a decent looking suitcase (wich would have been perfectly fitting for Hitman: Absolution). At last we don't get anything special in this edition, something more or less creative, like a 1:1 AMT Hardballer-firelighter or a fitting prop from the game... *sighs*
i basically compare every CE to The Witcher 2 CE or the Halo Reach LE - those were and still are some of the CE's out there - at least what i'd regard as really top notch worth-your-money ones...
Needs to come in a metal box and also include a soundtrack.
I just checked amazon.com (US) and it's available for preorder there (both 360 and PS3) - just so everyone knows it's available for us poor USA folk! Yay! Mine is preordering as I type this...lol

Why are we poor pc gamers forced to wait or go without. Looks better than the hitman blood money edition at least.
anyone else want to see a set of silverballers in a briefcase as part of some extreme limited edition.

Now that's weird... The one in that picture has 2 disks with it. I bought mine on release from new and it only has the game disc and 1 disc slot...
There was a Collector's Edition of Hitman: Blood Money for the PC released as a "digipak" at least in Germany and the UK, too; you can see the last one in my collection:
It came with an "Exclusive DVD" (trailers, artworks, soundtrack etc.):

nice collection there

I'm wondering if they'll release a US$100 edition? Something similar to the Deus Ex CE with a big figurine??
@Vicarocha: Thanks a bunch! So there exists a steelbook version and a digipack w/ a bonus DVD, German exclusive?

Plus, wasn't there a red version steelbook of some kind? I remember something like that I saw...

But I'm hopeful! Either way I'm getting whatever biggest edition exists for Absolution. It's fuckin' Hitman we're talking about here, for God sake guys...HITMAN!
oh man i want something extra added to this edition. a soundtrack would be nice considering the style in which you play the game affects the music
and a bust would have been great similar to the one in duke nukems ball of steel edition

I don't remember seeing a red one. You might be thinking of the inside design because that's all red with 47 getting ready to take a shot with his sniper! lol
So there's a chance some elusive Steelbook eil appear somewhere in Europe??
And also, I think an HD Collection of the previous games would be good for those who've never played the series...like me
I saw the promo pic and thought "Sweet, a briefcase!", only to then realise that it's DLC
Yet another CE using DLC as a bonus
Any news on which retailer/s will be receiving this?
*** Added North American Professional Edition for Xbox 360 and PS3 ***
This game is begging for a steelbook... Micromania/futureshop, you guys better pull through!!
