Saints Row IV is set to receive another special edition, publisher Deep Silver has announced – a Game of the Generation Edition. Alongside the previously announced ‘Commander in Chief’ and ‘Super Dangerous Wub Wub’ editions this one actually seems pretty limited. The Game of the Generation Edition will only be produced up to 5,000 times and each unit will be individually numbered, and costs $129.99.
The Game Of The Generation Edition of Saints Row IV will feature all of the contents of the other special editions as well as a Light-up Rotating Display Case with individually numbered plaque and a Top Shelf Protective Pouch for Display Case.
Publisher describing it as “AAAAA quality” you will receive the following:
- Light-up Rotating Display Case with individually numbered plaque
- Top Shelf Protective Pouch
- Super Dangerous Wub Wub Edition
- Real life 12 inch Dubstep gun, featuring filthy bass tunes and a laser sight
- 8 inch Johnny Gat Memorial Statue
- Pocket-sized Dubstep Doomsday Button
- Saints Row IV Commander in Chief Edition
- Alternate Box Art
- Merica Weapon
- Uncle Sam Suit
- Screaming Eagle Jet
Saints Row 4 is set to be released on August 20th in North America and August 23rd in Europe.

Namco Bandai Games Europe have announced a collector’s edition for Saint Seiya: Brave Soldiers for Europe and Australia. For our North American fans Saint Seiya Brave Soldiers follows the footsteps of One Piece Pirate Warriors as a PSN-exclusive for PS3, so a collector’s edition is very unlikely to happen.
The Saint Seiya: Brave Soldiers Collector Edition comes with a nice collector box and the following:
- Customizable Seya figurine with Pegasus armor which is only available in the collector’s edition – 18cm (~7″)
- In-Game Content:
- Exclusive Saint Cloth Myth EX Pegasus Seiya (New Bronze Cloth) – Original Color only available with the game
On a side note, the figurine is part of the Cloth Myth Ex-Edition and the five other figurines of the Cloth Myth EX series will be launch from December 2013 to spring 2014.
Saint Seiya: Brave Soldiers will launch for PlayStation 3 in Europe and Australia this fall.

After all of the opinions, the delays and the drama surrounding the Ouya I finally received mine, rather than just do an unboxing or a review I thought I would keep a Journal of my experiences with this little console. So consider this an extended, multi-part review where I’ll dig into everything about the Ouya “experience” starting with the kickstarter, continuing with the unboxing and today, ending with the actual gaming experience. We reported a while back that a Collector’s Edition of Batman Arkham Origins is listed at Amazon.de but as of yet no content details were available. Now a promotional picture has been leaked showing what could be included in the collector’s edition.
The following content comes all wrapped up in a holographic Collector’s Box:
- Unique 3D Metal Pack
- The art of Batman: Arkham Origins Book
- 23 cm (~ 9″) tall figurine featuring Batman & Joker
- 2 Exclusive DLC’s
- additional costumes for Batman
- Deathstroke character for challenge mode

Square Enix has announced the Final Fantasy X/X-2 HD Remaster Limited Edition, a limited-run version, which will only be available through pre-order and for PlayStation 3, is coming to North America, Europe and PAL territories.
Available to those who pre-order the game on PlayStation 3 for $39.99 USD/ £29.99 GBP will receive a free upgrade to the Limited Edition which includes an exclusive 24-page art book and packaging. The art book contains quotes and commentary from several of the original development team members, including a special message to the fans from producer Yoshinori Kitase.
Final Fantasy X/X-2 HD Remaster is due to release on PS3 and PS Vita later this year.
Pre-orders can be placed at Amazon.com or Gamestop.com – Both are also shipping internationally.
