After a really incredible and exciting E3 2013 and Microsoft’s 180-degrees turnaround, everything is going to go back to normal and I’m glad to bring you three newly announced and revealed collector’s edition along.

Payday 2 Career Criminal Edition

The Collector’s Edition of Payday 2 will be numbered and limited to 50K units (30K  Xbox 360 and 20K PS3) at a price of $59.99 USD.
It includes:

• A latex mask of the main character
• A Pair Of Blue Surgical Gloves
• 100 Bill Wallet – A Tyvek Wallet, that looks like a roll of $100’s
• Music Soundtrack to Payday
• Lootbag DLC
  • a military red dot weapon sight that can be used with all rifles and shotguns
  • in-game cash to spend as players want
  • a skull mask to hide their identities
  • a black and red mask
  • another mask with the message “I Love Overkill!”

The Criminal Edition will be available for PS3 & Xbox 360 and will be released on August 13, 2013. Several stores like Amazon.com are already taking pre-orders but a content description is yet to come.

Deadfall Adventures Collectors Edition

Deadfall Adventures is a new IP coming to Xbox360 and PC this autumn, developed by Farm 51 and published by Nordic Games. The Collector’s Edition of Deadfall Adventures includes the following:

• Compass
• Artbook
• DVD “Making Of”
• Official soundtrack
• Posters
• Stickers
• Exclusive DLC

Terraria Collector’s Edition

The Minecraft-inspired 2D sandbox adventure game Terraria is already available for the Xbox 360 and PlayStation 3 via Xbox Live Arcade and the PlayStation Network. But now Publisher 505 Games announced that there will be a Collector’s Edition for both consoles.

The Collector’s Edition is set for release on July 16, 2013 and includes the following:

• USB Pick
• Crafting Map 1x
• Character Poster 3x

The Xbox 360 Collector’s Edition includes a physical disc while the PS3 version only comes with a redeemable digital card version of the game!

MotoGP 2013 Collector’s Edition Available For Pre-Order In Spain & Italy

Milestone Studios have put together a MotoGP 2013 Collector’s Edition for Spain & Italy. A release in France and the Netherlands is quite possible according to the language flags shown on the outer box.

Available for PS3 & Xbox 360 at a price of €149.99 EUR in Spain and €129.98 EUR in Italy it will include the following content:

• Metal replica of the MotoGP World Championship Trophy (~ 25 cm/ ~ 9.8 inch)
• “Making Off” – DVD

Armored Core: Verdict Day Club Namco Edition Available To Pre-Order, North America & Canada Only

Recently a Special Edition of Armored Core: Verdict Day has been spotted online at the Namco Bandai Shop.  It is exclusively sold through the online store and only available for the PlayStation 3.

The Club Namco Edition is priced at $ 149.99 and will include, according to their vague item description, the following:

• Mech Action Figure
• Artbook
• Digital Soundtrack

It is unclear if they all come together in a single package, or are the action figure & Artbook  just more some kind of pre-order bonuses. If you happen to know more about this let us know in the comments below.

It also seems that this Edition is equivalent to the Japanese Collector’s Edition of Armored Core Verdict Day which includes

• ACVD-body Figure (ABS, painted)
• Visual & Parts Book (200 pages)
• Original Digest Soundtrack (7 tracks)

The Japanese Collector’s Edition is also available for the Xbox 360. Both console versions are priced at 16,800 JPY (~ $169 USD) and can be pre-ordered here

The game is set for Fall 2013 release

Final Fantasy XIII – Lightning Ultimate Box heading to Japan, Exclusively for the PS3

Today, Square Enix has released its E3 trailer for Lightning Returns: Final Fantasy XIII, along the game will receive a Limited Ultimate Box Edition in Japan. It is sold exclusively through the Square-Enix Store now for ¥26,000 JPY (~ $ 265 USD).

The Ultimate Box is available exclusively for the PlayStation 3 and will include the following:

• All three games in the Trilogy
• Lightning Special Label Stand
• Special Soundtrack
• Lightning Artworks
• Lightning Play Arts Figure W 150mm×D 100mm×H 260mm (W 6″ x D 4″ x H 10″)

Square Enix also announced that Lightning Returns: Final Fantasy 13 will launch on PS3 and Xbox 360 across North America on February 11 and across Europe February 14

After Deep Silver’s poll to decide what would make it to the Dead Island Riptide Collector’s Edition, fans have lately voted on what they want in a Collector’s Edition for Saints Row IV and now Deep Silver has responded.

Today, they have announced a massive Collector’s Edition of Saints Row IV, titled The Super Dangerous Wub Wub Edition which will be available in Europe and North America.

GRID 2 – BAC Mono Edition if this does not sell will Codemasters close?

The world as we know it is about to change. Not a day passes by where we do not hear the words US dept-crisis and/or Eurozone crisis. The Euro is already traded as a historical fail but the “small” developer studio called Codemaster decided to publish a Special Edition for all racing game lovers against all rules. To make it something real special they also decided to put the price a little higher than usual. Not only £100 GBP or £200 GBP  but ridiculous £125,000.00 GBP (~ $190,000.00 USD)

With accepting the deal you agree to trade your hard earned coins for the following:

• PS3 Grid 2 game with special packaging
• PS3 to play it on
• 170mph BAC Mono supercar specially outfitted with Grid 2 livery
• Full set of Grid 2 and BAC branded racing gear including a helmet, suit, boots, and gloves – all tailored to your size
• A day at the BAC factory, including a tour and time with technicians to customize your ride

Also this Edition is kind of limited, to be more precise, there is only one kind of the Grid 2 “Mono Edition”

Please, do not everybody rush out to your bank to mortgage your house even if this is a once-in-a-lifetime chance, without doubt! Think twice, only this way you might imagine its full extend. You can be part of the history of the world’s record for the most expensive collector’s edition commercially available. This record is unlikely to be topped anytime soon.

For everyone out there who is not interested in collecting any PS3 stuff you can save your time from now on because Codemaster does not give you the opportunity to swap the PS3 for a Xbox 360. Well, to be fair you can really not expect to have such a choice for a filthy £125,000.00 GBP product. Sorry, but I am out!

For those who are still undecided, you can find the official website here. Members from Europe can pre-order the Edition here but watch out Game’s new policy which requires a £ 20 GBP deposit on any pre-order. Not everyone can deal with that! There is also no trade-in for two selected games and get it for 99p on this but reward points are redeemable.
For those from the UK who want to pre-order in person please consider prices in GAME Stores may differ!

Also good luck to any potential buyer from outside Europe as you will have to send an e-mail to sale [at] bac-mono.com and convince them to ship the vehicle overseas.

Enough talking, someone is better buying this edition, our economy is in need of bold and urgent action.

Time and Eternity Limited Edition available for pre-order

After the huge GTA V announcement let’s all take a step back and have a look at the upcoming NIS-Game “Time and Eternity”. NIS-Games are super niche and made with a specific target audience in mind. But they have shown that they know what the term “Limited Edition” actually means. So if they are sold out, there will be no reprinting or remanufacturing. With only a limited number made most of the games tend to increase in value, so fans better hurry up. According to the NIS-America Online Store there is less than 50% stock left.

Now let’s have a look at the hard facts. The Limited Edition of Time and Eternity includes:

• Time and Eternity Limited Edition box
• Full-color hardcover art book
• Time and Eternity original soundtrack with jewel case

Grand Theft Auto V Special and Collector’s Editions Announced + Pre-Order In-Game Atomic Blimp

Today Rockstar has announced full details of the Special Edition and Collector’s Edition of Grand Theft Auto V which will be available for worldwide pre-order starting today from participating retailers. There is really not much more to say. So, here is what you get and how much you have pay for it.

The Grand Theft Auto V Special Edition

It will retail for $79.99 USD and includes the following:

• Collectible SteelBook with Exclusive Artwork
  This special SteelBook features double-sided, never-before-seen artwork of Michael, Trevor and Franklin. Custom color and metallic treatments bring out the detail of the artwork created exclusively for this SteelBook.
• Blueprint Map
  This exclusive, additional 21.5” x 26.75” map displays a blueprint view of Los Santos and Blaine County. Cryptic markings indicate locations for fast cash and other points of interest for the up-and-coming entrepreneur.
• Special Ability Boost
  Michael, Franklin and Trevor each have a unique special ability. With this boost, the special ability bar will generate 25% faster.
• Stunt Plane Trials
  Single player Stunt Plane Trials let you take on additional aerial challenges spread throughout Los Santos and Blaine County.
• Bonus Outfits, Tattoos and More
